Check out under your name to the left of your post and see what title you are--I imagine it will be very different. Why did the ranks get altered? Well, I hadn't ever really expected people to rise through the ranks so fast. Obviously this site isn't going anywhere, and five years down the line, it wouldn't make sense for all of us to be Adonalsium, now would it? So this new scheme was designed to be much more sustainable for years to come. It's also designed to have a ton more progression than the old system. In the old scheme, you became Shard at 128, and then new ranks appeared at 256, 512, and 1024. Not so much progression. Considering how many people are in the 1-500 range, there needed to be a lot more ranks. And boy, there are a lot of new ranks. In the old scheme we had less than 20 ranks total. In this new system, there are 102 positive reputation levels. There's also no exponential growth on new ranks--it's much more linear, with the differences between levels gradually increasing. I hope you find the new system fun! There are a lot of very powerful and cool titles now, but there are also delightfully obscure cosmere titles, and some that are just plain silly. Hehehe. And of course, now with a properly large list of ranks, it's time to complain about their ridiculousness. Some of the promotions are... interesting, to say the least. I was going to say that it would be neat if powers of two advance you to Mistborn-related ranks, multiples of 10 (or 100) - Stormlight-related ones, and the others fill the gaps. I would guess that it is above mistborn. Only 44 of the 102 new positive rep levels are currently held by anyone. I expect that there are a fair number in between the higher numbers in my list, but also at least 40-50 above them. Knight Radiant would probably be somewhere up there, afterall it was around 50 in the old system while mistborn was 16. It is going to take a very, very long time to get to those really high ranks : ) Also, come on guys. Surely Chaos deserves more rep for creating the system than I do for just finding and listing them? The level of power/ the distribution doesn't seem right .. is a Envisager really more powerful than a Gyorn ? And wouldn't Wyrn easily take out a Worldbringer ? I feel like some of the ranks are fine, but everything that's connected with the Stormlight Archive is either over- or underpowered. Generally I rated magic users and more esoteric terms higher than more common terms like Gyorn. I don't think everyone could be totally pleased by the order, though. Everyone will have different ideas of what things should be rated higher. I'd suggest to just enjoy the ridiculousness and imagine you, as a 17th Sharder, progressively gaining all of these titles Also Ffnord. You're insane for doing that, but good job. Shouldn't be too long. I'm going to guess that the ceiling is now somewhere around 10k, or maybe Adonalsium at 16k. It was fun ) I have Truthless at 993, spinner at 787, Elantrian at 752 and lamespren at -25. These titles are awesome...but what's a spinner? Is there someone you can see the top and bottom ten rep-holders? I'm fairly certain I saw it recently, but can't find such a a page again.
