BOOM Plot twist! What is this roller coaster of a development?! Could it be the long awaited addition of a new character? Or is it just a metaphor for our own mortality?

Will Mraize be able to confront this new friend? Or will he trip and fall to his untimely death?

Can this be any more drawn out? Or is it curtains for the dynamic dude?

Tune in next time, same bat-time, same bat-channel...

Having finished the cookie, Mace decided to come back later. Maybe there'd be more violence and disregard for social contracts then. So he waddled away, waddle, waddle, waddle walked away.

'I have gathered you all for a reason. The priests who took Rhaizen are called Dakhor. They are one of the several ways that Investiture manifests on Sel. Their deformity occurs through skeletal alterations that cost many lives. We want Rhaizen for different reasons, but we all want him before he becomes one of them, I can assure you of that. Those of you who join me shall be armed with some of the best weapons in the multiverse and trained by some of the finest combat and strategical specialists, while those who do not will have their pick of destination where I shall swiftly return them. While you consider this I shall swiftly deal with Septimus. I had to send them to a different region here due to their temperament. I should be back within half an hour.' Lopen tapped the Aon Tia on his tie and was immediately transported to the house. 'Septimus, how would you like to find and kill Rhaizen with us? Your recent engagement with Autonomy made me meet with you away from the others. Your sand mastery has progressed remarkably quickly. It took me years to master it working with the maestrells, and decades to get to 100 ribbons.'

A question Mraize, will you be controlling the Dakhor Monks if we come into conflict.

Edit: 400th post!

Septimus waited. And thought. He couldn't be kept waiting forever. He needed to go to Fjorden and the Dakhor Monastery. He phased into Shadesmar. And was blasted with intense heat. The sand in his pouches began to glow with enormous amounts of light. Septimus returned to the room. Right. He was on Sel... The Dor... He looked down at his sand which had been supercharged with Shardic investiture. That could be useful.

After more waiting Lopen finally entered.

" Septimus, Would you like to find and kill Rhazien with us?" Septimus glared at him. This one was a meddler.

" If you put all of our chips on one bet then you're setting yourself up for failure. I will help you kill him, but I will follow my own path. I could however use an Aon Tia to Fjordell." Septimus stood. " So?"

I started reading through this, and thought that it was a serious role play, not one that involves spiked penguins. I'm not gonna ask the backstory - Yzabet wouldn't know it anyway.

Yzabet's eyebrows were contorted into a shape that could only be described as angry caterpillars. Her face, normally light and perky, was dark and pissed.

"Rhaizen." The tall shadow of Jaddeth loomed over her, accentuating her mood.

'You're not the only one who wants to kill Rhaizen. Ever been to the Pentverse? They have this film there, avengers, which reminds me of our situation. I've assembled a strong group of individuals, and I sense that they have mastery, but many are not cosmere aware and need guidance with certain Investitures. If you agree to join me, here's a card with an Aon Tia to transport you to our location. Right now I should get back to them. Au revoir!' Lopen tapped the Aon Tia on his left scabbard and returned to the others. 'So?'

Suggestion for an informal rule on controlling NPCs (which I'm entitling Archer's Rule): If you use them, the other players can use an equal amount of force in response. This is a good rule of thumb for the collection of investiture too, if someone starts powering up, then they should expect others to as well.

For example, if a player creates and starting controlling an army of monks, I would be allowed to give myself a massive supply of stored Feruchemical attributes which I could then use to smite them. An army gives one a lot of power, so I would feel okay responding with a similar amount of power (just in another form). Or I could translate the power into creating an army of my own as well, be it beavers or Ninja Turtles or meekrats. Is it still reasonable? Yes, I have a plausible backstory for how I got said power, namely I spent the last few months storing it in preparation. Normally I wouldn't say that, but my hand has been forced.

But you might ask, doesn't that ruin the spirit of limiting powers and having weaknesses to ensure reasonable fights and interactions that are plausible?

Yes, yes it does. But right now we have no system of stopping people from doing whatever they want, so it's a short-term solution until we get something better in place.

KoTiel replied: "While I do agree that Rhazien is dangerous, and I can't agree with what he has done, I will not be able to fight and kill, as the first contract forbids this. However, I will allow for the formation of a Contract, and perform other tasks that you have for me. I'll have to warn you that I'm not good at impersonating people however."

Septimus cursed. Storm that man. He wasn't going to be part of some frivolous boy band. There were other Elantrians who could help him. He left, and quickly made his way to Elantris, tapping Steel. He soon found a willing Elantrian, who unfortunately had to be persuaded. He was soon standing in the center of a square in Fjordell, a statue of Jaddeth looming over him. He needed to find the Monastery quickly, he stuck out like a sore thumb, and would find trouble if he wasn't careful.

"I am part of the tenth generation," KoTiel replied. "I carry the Blessings of Presence, and have a fair amount of skill in manipulating my form."

Have to go offline now, it's getting fairly late where I am. I'll be back in about ten hours.

"I am already trained to be as deadly as possible. And my weapons are suitable for killing Rhazien." Soul addressed Lopen.

Glancing around He saw many people here. Already bored, Soul drew an aluminum blade from his back and started tossing it from hand to hand.

"How long will it take for everyone else to be ready to attack? And if it takes long, do we really need all these people?"

Quote

I'm not really against lots of people, Soul is just impatient to kill things, and he's overconfident.

"No, Hemalurgy is too risky. I rarely use the spike I have, I'm not about to spike myself more."

Soul stored Identity, making himself a blank slate. Impatience no longer applied to him, neither did any other attribute. Soul sat crosslegged and began to meditate in preparation. Dual swords crossed on his lap, and his spren on his shoulder.
