It was called that because anyone who exits it immediately is teleported back in time to the point in which they first appeared in the comic and wiping their minds of prior events, thus making a Stable Time Loop of Temporary Relevance (also known as a STLTP - still-tip). But that was irrelevant, as was anyone in the Paradox Box and the Paradox Box itself.
