Do you want to play with Nightblood?

13 posts in this topic

**This parody song is based on the hit song from the Disney movie Frozen: Do You Want to Build a Snowman? which can be watched here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1lDcPm-KRw. Hope you like it!

Knock, Knock, Knock-knock

Vivenna?

Do you wanna play with Nightblood?

Come on let's go outside!
You're always just with Vasher now,
Can't you see how,
It's almost like you died!

You never really liked me,
But now you do,
Come on let's go and bond!

Do you wanna play with Nightblood?
(Ih' ro-esn't ha' to re r-ith R-ightblood)

Go away Siri.

Ok bye...

Do you wanna play with Nightblood?
Or go and visit Lightsong's grave?
I know what Denth did to you,
But don't be blue,
For your sister you have saved!

Thanks by the way

It gets a little boring,
In this Court of Gods,
Just watching the priest debate!

yes-no-yes-no-yes-no-yes

*cue tragedy...

Knock, Knock

Vivenna?

Please won't you smile?
Ever since vasher went away,
I know that it's been hard for you,

I'm always here for you,
You're gonna be ok.
I know that you've been lonely,
I've felt that too,
I'd help if you'd let me try...

Do you wanna play with Nightblood?

thanks to my girlfriend for helping me put this together haha

I saw someone posted the first verse of this song AS Nightblood. "Do you wanna kill some evil? C'mon, let's go and slay!" But honestly, if any song from that movie has the "feel" of Nightblood to me, it's In Summer. I would LOVE to see Olaf draw Nightblood. I am, however, drawing a blank as to what lyrics to wring for the song.

Very minor spoilers for WoR (and big spoilers for Frozen, I guess)

You have to change shockingly little of "Fixer-Upper" to make it fit perfectly for Bridge Four singing it to Shallan, trying to get her to fall for Kaladin, circa three-quarters of the way through the book, basically just after she gets to the war-camp.

EDIT: A bit of clarification

I would LOVE to see Olaf draw Nightblood.

Oh, wow... What would happen???? Would it drain him of his magical energy?? I think he could wield it safely, its just Olaf would need plenty of stormlight or breaths, otherwise he turns back into a normal snowman.

"I don't have breath. Or bones."

Also, can I just say that the title of this thread is a little creepy if you think about it to much.

I dunno... Elsa is pretty uber, herself. She built an entire freakin' palace in, what, seven or eight seconds, and wasn't even tired enough to stop dancing while doing it. Olaf is a direct creation of hers; whatever power she's provided him is either likely very strong, or a permanent bond that her own (massive) power is constantly replenishing. It might be a good long while before Nightblood was drawing enough power away from Olaf for anything to happen, or for Elsa to even notice.

And yeah, he'd totally be like Vivenna, repulsed and made queasy by Nightblood, at least at first.

Actually my girlfriend and I had a shaky version of Olaf's Summer song along the lines of "I can't wait to do what awakened swords do in peace time"

Also I freaking love that "fixer upper" idea! But I have to wait for my girlfriend to finish reading WoK and then read WoR before we could start on it :D

Thanks for the support guys, I posted this so long ago and it never got a comment so glad you enjoyed it!!

So he's a bit of a fixer-upper, so he's got a few flaws.

Like his past with the bridgemen,

His thing with the Windspren

that's a little outside of nature's laws...

Is it the way that he runs scared?

Or that he's socially impaired?

Or that he trains all of his buddies in the pits?

Are you holding back your fondness

Due to his unmanly bondness,

Or the way he covers up that he can heal from hits!

...

So she's a bit of a fixer-upper, it's a minor thing.

This, quote, enagement is a casual arrangement.

And by the way, I don't see no ring.

So she's a bit of a fixer-upper, her brain's a bit betwixt!

Get the fiance out of the way, and the whole thing will be fixed!

renarin>"Hey!"

lopen's solo>

We're not saying you can change him,

It's not like you've got that Surge.

We're only saying love is more

than a fundamental urge!

And yeah, the literal rest of the song is totally perfect as-is.

Now I kinda want to see a music video of "Let it Go" featuring Vivenna embracing her awakening powers...
