On a different note but related to the posts above, I do hope to see Shallan and Lift interact in the next book - it should be quite fun! (They would likely be able to meet if they can open the appropriate Oathgate). Getting back to Kaladin (maybe someone should start an equivalent thread for him?), my feeling from how things are in the books and various comments Brandon has made is that Kaladin's real romance won't occur until the 2nd half of the series (though maybe I'm over-interpreting things). So, assuming she grows up mentally and physically, then Lift could be a possibility. Upvoted. An older and wiser Lift with Kaladin would be AWESOME. OMG I have the perfect couple name for them!
