White Sands

Spoiler

A boy has trouble moving sand, but his dad is in charge so . . . oh wait . . . nvm. He tries to succeed and over succeeds, his dad is mad. But you can have this other guy's sash! And then everyone gets dehydrated, but he's alive, so he meets these people who 'look different' *gasp*. He doesn't tell them that he should be in charge of the magic sand people. Then he has to decide whether or not to blackmail a bunch of other people who are in charge so he can actually be in charge. The people who 'look different' find out that he's supposed to be in charge and get mad at him. He decides not to blackmail them, but a guy who's always drunk blackmails one instead. In the end, the person who hates the boy(who is now a man) is the person who decides if he has something to be in charge of, and she surprises everyone by saying yes.

Oh, and somewhere in there there's a bunch of parts where the boy is *almost* dehydrated and then gets better at moving sand.

“Can we see the replay of that?”

In like 3 decades (yes, I know that that is an optimistic figure), when the SA TV series is finished, I can't wait for the "Every Prologue Scene Supercut" videos.

Won't this be like half of his screentime? Which bad character do you think will get an ardent following?

That's true.  Kaladin has a lot of awesome moments.  So there will be comments saying, 'you cut out xyz, why?  That was the best part!'

Well, depends what you mean by bad...  Probably Taravangian.  Or Mraize.  Depending on where he goes, maybe Vyre/Moash.

No wait.  Kabsal.  And Nan Balat.

I was going for someone like Kylo Ren(warning: I have only seen A New Jedi), someone who makes bad choices an stuff... It will probably be Moash.

Wait.. what did Balat do? Is this 'cause of the torturing of animals?
