Genesis Posted April 6, 2017 Report Share Posted April 6, 2017 The way it read made it seem like it was almost like a part of Eshonai (like an aspect of her personality) was doing the screaming. Im thinking this direction because each of the forms (listener-spren bonds?) "colours" their personality to varying degrees. DSC01 Posted April 6, 2017 Report Share Posted April 6, 2017 There probably actually is a connection, even though what @Genesis is saying also sounds fairly accurate. Essentially you have a Cognitive aspect that is trapped in a single form. In the dead Shardblade's case, it seems to be like a loop of eternally experiencing the moment of their Bond being severed, as they were locked into their Bladeform. I think it's more along the lines of the voidspren hijacking her body and her Cognitive aspect being shunted aside into the Spren form. So it's her screaming, and not the Spren being misused. ScavellTane Posted April 15, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) Or it could be that Eshonai has a Radiant spren and it is hurting because the stormspren is dominant. Regardless, I think this is the same thing that happens when a bonded Radiant touches a 'dull/dead' shardblade. Their 'dominant' spren causes the dead spren pain/agony.
