OH MY KELSIER! I just had a fantastic idea. So I was listening to the Greatest Showman Soundtrack because it's awesome and I was getting a feel for what I had to work with and I had a Thought. What if we had someone do The Greatest Show (the very first song) about just the cosmere? The opening of the whole musical. Listen to it, it has potential if anyone's willing to tackle it.

Hmm, I haven't seen the movie or listened to the soundtrack either. I'll check out the songs, but I think I'll have to pass on doing a parody.

I like to do parodies of songs that get stuck in my head, that way I can have alternate lyrics to cycle through.

The next parody I'm going to do is "I Don't Practice the Old Magic" to the tune of Santeria by Sublime.

I may have said this before, I can’t remember, but I think “Defying Gravity” fits Moash better than it does Kaladin.

I'll defend my artistic choices:

1. The original story has the main character choosing between doing what she promised and helping her morally ambiguous friend or doing what is right. I mirrored this with Kaladin having to break his promise to Moash.

2. Moash and Kaladin have their confrontation at the end of WoR, in which Moash can't fly and Kaladin gets to at a similar dramatic moment to when Elpheba does. By OB, they have no interaction that would fit the song, so Moash's abilities there don't really matter.

I watched Kelly's Heroes lately and the title theme (especially the part about bridges) always catches my attention. I know we have a lot of Kaladin songs on here, but I couldn't think of anyone else who would better fit the regret in the lyrics, except perhaps Dalinar.

Without further ado, Dying Bridgemen, a parody of Burning Bridges. WoK and WoR spoilers.
