Lilamal
Divine Breath is incredibly powerful compared to normal Breath. What if it was used to Awaken? What would happen? What if a Lifeless was created using a Divine Breath? Would it become sentient?
Yata
As a Splinter of Endowment the Divine breath have to be sentient to a some degree therefore I think if you use it for awakening you simply obtain a object moved by the Divine Breath's mind
DeanaMCW
Whoever used their Divine Breath would die - because they gave it away. But isn't there speculation that Nightblood was created with a Divine Breath?

Yes but it's possible to give away the Divine Breath without consume it in a Healing...so the reciver would have a Divine Breath at his/her disposal 55 minutes ago, DeanaMCW said: But isn't there speculation that Nightblood was created with a Divine Breath? There are people with this kind of idea, but it is baseless (and to be there are counterproofs to this)

But all the evidences from the book and Wobs seem to point aganist it. - To craft Nightblood nobody lost his life (losing a Divine Breath would kill a Returned) - Vasher in his own mind keeps refering to Nightblood's breath as 1000 Breaths and Vasher is familiar enough with the Divine Breath to refer to it with the right name - Nightblood is defined by Brandon as a Robot/Frankenstein Entity (I don't place the real wording to avoid Spoiler tag) and if the Divine Breath is what they used to craft Nightblood...Nightblood would be not a patchwork (frankenstein) of 1000 different Breath - Lastly, if you need a Divine Breath to craft a Nightblood like being...Vasher would not have this obsessive fear of a Mass production of Nightbloods Edited February 21, 2017 by Yata

Or at least, a WoB that says that the recipient of a Divine Breath does not become Returned themselves, which is more or less the same thing, isn't it? (As with Calmseer, the last Returned to heal a supplicant - she died, but the supplicant was still just a person, albeit a healed one, not a person with her original Breath plus Calmseer's gift of a Divine Breath). Lilamal
Ah, That makes sense now. But still, what would using a divine breath to awaken do?
