Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) With the entire Cosmere optioned for movies, I've seen threads talking about who should play the Mistborn characters, the Stormlight characters, but not Warbreaker, which may have the most potential as a movie. Most importantly, who should voice Nightblood? That's almost as important as deciding who should be the voice of Stick. Just some quick thoughts: Susebron: Brandon Routh (mostly for looks, plus he'll be better as an actor if he's not talking). Siri: Daisy Ridley Vivenna: Katie McGrath Denth: Simon Baker Tonk Fah: Adam Baldwin Vasher: Jason Statham. Kidding. Not sure yet. Lightsong: Dunno. Would need to pull of glib and cheerfully willfully ignorant, while still looking godlike and amazing. Llarimar: Sean Maher (with a little extra weight of course). Blushweaver: Morena Baccarin Bluefingers: John Cleese Treledees: Clark Gregg King Dedelin: Anthony Head And the voice of Nightblood? Alan Tudyk. (Originally I had Jim Parsons here, but he can be Stick in SA.) I know I've left out plenty of characters, but I like most of these. But also no please put all of these whitewashed castings back in the mistborn thread where they belong. this is the original topic, if you want to continue there. As you can see, most of your suggestions are already there, with various discussion and about how you could do a lot better with these characters. Jackson for the witty banter, sarcasm, and disregard for the status quo.....Vasher is like the Nick Fury of the Cosmere, lots of secrets and sarcastic as hell. That dicaprio/ tom hanks movie about the fraudster airline pilot/lawyer fake check maker guy was on when I wrote the post, which I why I was thinking of Dicaprio for a role requiring humor.
