Hogwarts was a huge shock after attending Ilvermorney for three years. Of course, she had learned a lot about Hogwarts over the summer, from books her parents had bought. But she did miss America. Why her dad had taken the job here, she did not know. And why where all these people on their phones? What was the point? Sarah didn't have a phone. She didn't want one either. While the sorting continued, Sarah took one of the many large books out of her bag and begun to read. Sarah liked informational books, she had read many over the summer, but definitely preferred Fantasy. Epic fantasy. Recently she had discovered a new author who's books she had fallen in love with. She was reading one of those at the moment. It was called Words of Radiance. She missed Ilvermorny. Her friends there had understood her. But now she was here, a tall thin girl with dark brown hair and brilliantly green eyes. She also wore glasses because she hadn't had time to put her contacts in after leaving the train. She was a fifth year even though it was her first year at Hogwarts. She stood out, dark hair tied back firmly in a ponytail, eyes sweeping back and forth on a page, and she looked oddly separate from everyone else. Even though Sarah was surround by other people, she wasn't laughing, or even talking with anyone else. Even at Ilvermorny, she had done the same thing. But she hadn't stood out. She had been surrounded by a group of friends doing the same thing. Spoiler Sorry if Sarah is a little undeveloped. Just found this an hour ago.
