Thought about Sigzil

Just a thought I had reading about Sigzil. What if Hoid was/is grooming him to be a Worldhopper? Maybe as a start to his own counter-17th Shard? He's built up his knowledge of Roshar and who knows what/where else. There's similarity between the titles of Worldsinger and Worldhopper. Though, is Worldhopper a canon term, or a Sharder term? And Sigzil has been documenting and testing Kaladins abilities. He also seemed very persistent that Kaladin make time for said tests. Anyway, no real quotation or WoB evidence I know if. Just a few connections my head made.

Brandon has noted a connection between Worldsinger and the Scadrian Worldbringers before. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/1308-hoid-founded-the-worldsingers-and-worldbringers/#entry22043(This is the source the Coppermind uses for this information. I'm sure there was a better source for this... can anyone find it?)

Also, this (old) discussion might be of interest to you: http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/2504-sigzil/

No problem. If you haven't seen it already, this might also interest you:

Herowannabe
Is Sigzil, as Hoid's apprentice, Rosharan?
Brandon Sanderson

He is from Roshar.

Herowannabe

Has Hoid taken him to other worlds?

Brandon Sanderson

No, Sig hasn't visited any other worlds.

The Coppermind Wiki is a goldmine of WoBs about specific characters. I knew this one existed, but it's nice to be able to just look up Sigzil and find the source of it :)

Perhaps Hoid is trying to get people who remember what the world is like, so that they can pick up the pieces and rebuild when/if Shards wreak havoc.

Also, he may be trying to form groups over the Cosmere like that as part of his Master Plan that involves traveling to worlds around the Cosmere and gaining their powers through legitimate means, as well as "moving the plot along" as he does in... every book.

The Heritage Clan on Sel, trying to preserve the past. Hoid helped them survive by giving them the most skilled Forger in the world, who can put together a soul from interviews and a journal. Hoid may have been trying to keep the Worldbringers of Scadrial around when he went to Terris. The storytelling on Nalthis is another example of this.

Hoid collects three things: objects (The flute, the bead of Lerasium, and the Dark Sphere--not sure about the third for sure--) information and Investment from different Shardworlds. I wonder: which is more dangerous and important?
