He even breaks the laws of gravity in the third big picture, in his room with the social worker, where a sock is hanging off his dresser and should clearly fall. I realize that he makes fun of the fact it is a book, but if someone in that situation broke the Fourth Wall... Wow. What if he breaks a dawn? Or breaks silence? All talents seem to be derivatives of the breaking talent, and Grandpa Smedry's ability allowed him to arrive late to things including his own death. Mark Adrian Posted February 13, 2017 Report Share Posted February 13, 2017 You probably couldn't break death. To avoid death, you'd have to use the opposite of Breaking, Fixing Things.
