ChickenPlague
No! Of course not! And I am totally not biased... Don't read the DA member list until we decide.
Kynedath
My service and my skills are at your command. My blade Voidwraith is eager to destroy any of the wielder's opponents. The skill I grant to my wielder is second to none.
Stormgate
If I am correct, then you must first define evil before calling something evil. To save you all the philosophical debate none of you want to have, Sanderson says that no Shardic magic system is truly evil. So Hemalurgy, and the Alley in which it is practiced, is not evil. Of questionable morals yes, but not evil. I have something to say about this Please excuse Thoughtward. He's (it's?) been grumpy when I finally got through to him that his Awakened phrase "Challenge ideas" does not mean insulting the entire idea and leave no room for arguing, but to appropriately point out the holes in theories and musings. You don't let me have any fun Ahem. Anyway, not only does Thoughtward grant amazing fighting skills, but I don't even have to draw him. Letting him talk in my victims' heads usually makes them question their existence. Failing that, their reality.
Kynedath
welcome comrades. our first order of business: let us decide whether or not the Dark Alley is evil. "In my experience, I have found them harmless. That is no answer. Are they evil or aren't they? Voidwraith, there is a grey area. There is more than just with me or against me. If they intrude in our operations then they will be considered enemies. So you do think that they are worth killing? I can help you kill them if they are. You have made excuses for me not to kill them. I always do. No, they are not my opponents. Besides, I will only let you help me kill if I am physically fighting another person." BTW, this is what Voidwraith looks like.

Voidus
Only if you want to be boring, DA sentient blades are typically named after Transcendental numbers or flavors of ice cream.
Citadel16
that's the idea. but if you think about it, nightblood isn't exactly using that format. so you can name it whatever you want as long as its similar. hey Voidus, want the blade Moosetracks? how bout Piday?

Left
Your organization seems to agree with my Gunsmoke barony in many ways. Would you accept my offer of sponsorship? Free residence and donuts at the barony, as well as access to powerful allies and stores of knowledge.
Stormgate
Thoughtward is a black spike blade about four feet long and cross-guards. What if Nightblood was blue? I mean, if you painted it, would the color stay? Oh, that's my spren, Bonrel. He lets me into the Theoryweavers of the Knights Awkward and Theoretic. Did you mention irritating? But really, what would happen? I mean, color is the focus for Nalthis, but would Nightblood drain the color (Warbreaker spoilers) like he drained that guy's hand? I'm so glad I thought to teach Bonrel how to use spoiler tags before letting him post. Color is not confirmed as the focus for Nalthis, you little Splinter. Yeah, the two of them don't get along well. What if both of us are just imaginary, created by Stormgate partially out of boredom, partially for humorous purposes? Now you're just being ridiculous. No comment. Edited January 19, 2016 by Stormgate
Kynedath
Oh, that's my spren, Bonrel. He lets me into the Theoryweavers of the Knights Awkward and Theoretic. I have a spren too. His name is Seznith. The thing is, he mostly just sits there analyzing everything that happens around him. Not the talkative type. But then again, I like him that way. If he has to talk, then he normally just says a few words and then stops and watches again. I could help you make him talk. I can give you the skills to do it remember? How about not right now, huh? I mean how would you feel if I did that to you? I wouldn't mind, mostly since I had to have given you the power and skill to do it anyways. Gah. If you guys can't tell by now, Voidwraith's command is to give his wielder skill and power. Odd choice but it sure comes in handy when I'm in a fight. It's not an odd choice if it's useful. *Sigh* Not the worst attitude to have I guess.

At least you dont have a blade commanded to avenge wrong. was that an insult? well in that case, banana brains, i accept your challenge. no. I wasnt! Don't. just, don't but you... nevermind. kynedath if you torture your spren i will- dont threaten people, Furystorm. it's not right. im not threatening... im promising! Dont do that either, I usually have to clean up the messes you make of people when you make promises. Voidus
At least you dont have a blade commanded to avenge wrong. You think that's bad? StrawberryPhi's command is (Somewhat stupidly I admit) fix grammar. I have an insane, fanatical, grammar nazi who telepathically speaks to me and tells me to kill people who say 'who' instead of 'whom' or 'naseous' instead of 'nauseated'. Or end sentences with prepositions. Those are the worst. Kill them all! That's not even considered bad grammar anymore!
Citadel16
wait, if someones grammer is wrong, can I kill them to avenge their grammer? no. especially since you misspelled grammar.
Stormgate
Mine has the command to challenge theories. As that is up to my perspective, I usually theorize that I will not be able to defeat any opponent before I run out of Investiture. He calls me on it every time.
