Posted December 8, 2015 Makes sense. It doesn't include the chasm line, so it probably doesn't function properly right now. (Smaller aons might, but one that big probably has to be corrected to do anything now.) jW Also the Small Aons didn't work without the new line.
Posted December 8, 2015 Also the Small Aons didn't work without the new line. Mostly didn't work. Raoden's Ehe still glowed a little bit, for a short period of time.
Posted January 5, 2016 So has anyone been able to pick out any discernible differences between pre-Reod Elantris and after Raoden restored it? I know there's not much in the way of description, but there may be some clue there.
Posted February 3, 2016 It makes sense, Aon Rao is a power amplifier. Ela is "Focus" so it probably is the source for AonDor, but Rao is amplifying that source all throughout the Aonic region.

Posted February 5, 2016 Don't have one, that site confuses me and I can never find anything. Might be worth trying it though. I'm the exact same way. All of my friends are always posting really interesting reddit articles and I have no clue how to work it.
Posted February 5, 2016 While browsing the coppermind, I came across the new map of Elantris and Kae. After looking a little closer at Elantris itself, I noticed something. Open spoiler for the big reveal. I noticed that there's a big Aon Ela inside Elantris! Am I the first to point this out, or was this known already? That is really awesome!!!
Posted February 22, 2016 You know, I'll bet that if you zoomed that picture out, there would be a circle a little bit down each of the four roads leading straight from each gate, making Aon Rao.
Posted February 22, 2016 I honestly can't tell if that was meant to be a joke.

Posted February 23, 2016 You know, I'll bet that if you zoomed that picture out, there would be a circle a little bit down each of the four roads leading straight from each gate, making Aon Rao. Um . . . everybody knows that it does? Elantris is Aon Rao. That's like, the most important part about it in the book. They even go and fix it with the chasm line. And then everyone realized the line was drawn in the wrong spot and the new edition fixed the location. It's almost impossible to read Elantris and not realize that the whole thing and the four cities form Aon Rao.

Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Wait, seriously? How did I miss that? Sorry. Yeah...that is kinda the whole climax of the book. I will admit that there are a lot of climax's in quick succession, but Raoden's realization of that is what sets everything in motion. He realizes this when he is in the shardpool and decides to not accept death. http://coppermind.net/wiki/Elantris_(book) (Part 3: The Spirit of Elantris) I missed a lot of things, every time I re-read it I find something else out. No worries. Edited February 24, 2016 by tobar14
