Can I bring printed-out copies of books to signings?

I printed out Firstborn from my computer. Does Brandon sign those?

...I might as well have him sign my phone and kindle, while I'm at it.

I'd say that with Firstborn, since it never really got sold outside of the con exclusive package, that'd be totally fine.

So far I'm bringing:

Firstborn

Shadows of Self (of course)

The Way of Kings

Mistborn: the Final Empire

And any others I'll buy while I'm there. (Probably Warbreaker or Elantris)

I have a printed copy of Mistborn Prime that I took to a signing and he was happy to sign it. He got kind of excited when he realized what it was.

He has signed my Kindle for me.  Actually after he signed it I have had a lot of authors sign it including Rothfuss and Terry Brooks.  :)

OMG.

I actualy thought of having him do that, but my Kindle is black.

Should I tape a Sticky Note to it?

My stuff to get signed:

Shadows of Self

Mistborn

The Well of Ascension

The Way of Kings

Words of Radiance

Firstborn

My Kindle

He might have a silver sharpie (or you could bring one), that should show up on black.

From the transcripts I've heard, he does have a silver on hand, for this exact occurence.

In Houston there were a couple Kindles, an iPad, and a couple books with a dark title page (not sure which it was. Some Special Edition)...

Brandon sent the bookstore handler/hand me your phone for a picture guy to grab three or four silver sharpies from Brandon's bag.

That's right! The Elantris books are also signed in silver. I forgot about that.
