DanTheSeamonster Posted June 19, 2015 Report Share Posted June 19, 2015 I have decided that my character for Gen 2 will be Fortis Protegat. The Lord of house Protegat stepped out from the alley way. Passersby heard him mumble a long string of curses under his breath. I'm late to the game, he mused silently. He walked down the street before stopping suddenly. Fortis. The idea had struck him out of nowhere. Lord Protegat spun on his heel abruptly, going back the way he had come. I will have much to teach the boy before he will be ready. But at least I have plenty of time... plenty of time indeed. I will be updating the Rules before then to make everything all nice and consistent. It reads 'So, you've signed up for Generation 2. That will begin about this time next week (6PM BST, June 5th). While you're not playing yet, there's a little bit of setup I need to get done first. You're joining with a new House, and to ensure you're on a roughly even footing with everyone else, I'd like to know the sort of general direction your House has followed so far. I'd like up to three choices with regards to this.' To clarify what I mean by this, I mean the sort of industries your house invested in, whether they spent time building up their military, stuff like that. If you have ideas for (again, up to) Actions, that would be even better. Basically, if you had been playing from the start, how would you have played it? Ignoring, of course, interaction between players. I can't quite clarify exactly what you get when you begin though, as it's dependent on how the current 18 players do at the end of Generation 1. I will send you a PM on the 26th to ask how you want your House to start up, so I can generate a few things for you. It'd be helpful, at that point, if you could respond with up to three areas or specific Actions you would like your House to concentrate on. It's almost like watching a story unfold in from your eyes. There's just something I want to ask. Is the Lord/Ladies of the current houses the sons/daughters of the former ones or just their descendant?? To answer your question, its complicated and technically a bit of both. While in-game your children become the next leaders of your House, in theory there is meant to be a hundred year gap between them. Ignoring that makes things a lot easier.
