Xanas smirked as he felt the Bronze pulses, even before the Parshendi began to burn metals. "Reload the rail guns." He pulled the trigger.

You should watch the video. A slug, maybe a foot and a half long, traveling at Mach 7 from the rail guns will put a hole through three concrete walls. Now if those slugs happen to be Hemalurgic spikes, well... we could spike a lot of Parshendi in one shot.

Queen Elsa and her army slashed at the Parshendi at lightning speeds, carefully avoiding the obstacles. Her wrists began to glow as she began to move her free hand and created ice cannons that immediately started to work, firing out very sharp ice spikes that could impale people with one mightly blow.

(As Rab, in his current form, does not have powers {this may change in the future} maybe I'll help out with the Parshendi. Let's get us some Chasmfiend action).

Urtrin narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms, attuning himself Rhythm of Annoyance. Standing on a raise mound, he could watch the raging battle below. The Listener were getting slaughtered. Their enemy had combatants with powers never seen before. These didn't come from the Honorblades or the Dawnshards, or even Radiants. No, this was something new. They were going to need help to stand any chance in the battle. Behind him, he could hear the chants of his fellows as they grew to their climax. He could hear both the rhythm of summoning and of fear in it's construction. Their foes had new magics. The listeners would summon old nightmares.

The chanting stopped. He started humming to the Rhythm of Apprehension. He need not wait for long. Great cracking sounds rang out as the ground heaved, and creatures of stone climbed up to wreck havok on any who stood in their way.

Winter turned around just in time to see the ground cracking beneath her. She yanked on the metalminds of the Parshendi, but they pulled away. Winter Pushed on a coin and launched herself over them. The Parshendi turned around, red lightning crackling. One bolt hit Winter. She screamed in agony, it hurt. Redness spread all over her vision.

Gold, come on. Winter thought, trying to Compound. The lightning snaked its way through her body, spreading out. She kicked the Parshendi with Pewter enhanced legs, knocking him off into a crack. But he climbed back up almost immediately.

Winter Pushed on a coin, ignoring the pain for then and fell into a squadron of ordinary stormform. She Coinshot one and it fell. A red spear came whistling past her ear. With Compounded Tin, she felt it coming. Right, Compounding! She shoved her pain inside of a tinmind. It might be dangerous not to feel her hurt, but right now, Winter needed clarity.

More lightning crackled around her. Winter clawed a Parshendi across their carapace. Her claws cracked it. The Parshendi growled, enraged. It ducked under Winter's second attack, hitting her side. Winter gasped, it nearly knocked the breath out of her. She Compounded gold to heal anything that might have broken.

Wait one second... There! A group of Parshendi launched themselves at her and she dodged out of the way at the right moment. They hit each other in the middle. Winter stabbed one with a dagger and kicked another off of the edges of the chasms that were opening up.

Suddenly a stone creature pulled itself out of one of the very same chasms. It jumped at Winter, quick as could be. It wasn't slow like a creature that big and bulky should be. Winter was Compounding Speed and was staying ahead of it, but barely.

She shoved Weight into an ironmind and Pushed hard on a coin she dropped beneath her. The speed which she went flying through the air would have been impossible for anyone else to maneuver, but she was Compounding Zinc. She rotated her body to land perfectly behind the creature. Pewter allowed her to land gracefully, as if it was a simple task.

She morphed into her wolf, ducking under the enormous creature. She changed back again and slammed her dagger up into the creature's underbelly, but there was hard carapace there too. Winter pulled herself out of the way before the creature managed to fall down and squish her.

She squinted, Compounding Tin for eyesight. She picked out individual lines on the creature. She also burned Tin. The combination of senses was almost unbearable, but Pewter helped her deal with the icy chill. Suddenly the ground beneath her disappeared.

Winter grabbed the edge of the chasm, but a Parshendi, stronger than it should've been, knocked her hands off. As Winter fell, she dropped a coin beneath her, Pushing it down. Once it hit the bottom, Winter felt herself rip into the air, shoving most of her weight into an ironmind. She landed on top of the creature, quickly stabbing it between two plates. There was tough flesh beneath the shell.

She Compounded Weight, adding more strength and bulk to her already Pewter Compounded body. The knife sunk into the flesh. She used her dagger as a lever to create more space in the hole. The creature tried to buck her off, but Winter held on tight.

She realized she wasn't getting anywhere here, so she yanked the dagger out of the creature. She dashed up the creature's back, dropping a coin on either side of herself to stabilize herself. She Duraluminum Soothed the creature. It collapsed to the ground, overwhelmed. Winter's double Allomancy plus Duralumin was really strong.

Winter yanked opens the creature's mouth as it lay unconsious. She stabbed the knife up the creature's throat and into its brain.

Then she turned around and realized that she had been stabbed in the back by a Parshendi. Winter quickly Compounded gold, spitting out the weapon. The Parshendi who did it seemed to be wearing Steelminds. Great. More Twinborn/Compounders/Ferrings.

Winter stabbed that Parshendi, but it moved quickly enough to block her. Winter attacked in a fury of moves. It kept up. Barely. Winter finished it off with a stab in the back. Winter had more practice with this kind of thing.

(Is there going to be a a chasmfiend? If there is, I'll take him on.)

The dragon got his meetetarian, taco, and went back into the fray. He swiped at the Parshendi war pair closest to him, only to see their wounds close up. Great, gold componders, the dragon thought to himself. He picked up a bolder and threw it at the pair, pinning them down beneath it. That'll keep them busy for a time. He leaped into the air to get a better view of the battle. With his vantage point, he could see the whole battle. He saw the flank of the enemy pivoting towards the center, causing mass confusion on the Ice Queen's front line. That's no good, he thought to himself, and went into a step dive. Snapping his wings open at the last possible moment, he glided over the ranks of Parshendi, a stream of fire burning them to over done toast. Claws making deep gouges in the ranks. Looking over his shoulder, the dragon could see some of the perfectly dead Parshendi get up and start fighting again. Blasted gold compounders, lets see how much health stored up.

Winter kicked the body of the Steel Compounder into a chasm. Then she looked up and noticed fourteen Parshendi coming towards her. Winter shifted quickly, jumping at them. Her fangs sharpened as she bit into the side of one. The Parshendi next to it had lightning around it, sparkling. Winter growled, ducking another bolt towards her.

She ducked between one Parshendi's legs, launching herself at the pair behind them. She shifted back to human and stabbed one Parshendi's shoulder. It screamed in pain and the lightning traveled up her dagger. Winter kicked that Parshendi in the chest, stabbing it through a flaw in their armor.

She ripped open her coin pouch and Pushed all of them out. They broke through the carapace on their chests, causing some of them to bleed and one of them to fall to the ground.

One of them began to sing a different hum than the others, a violent bloody song. Winter screamed at the Parshendi, to block out the horrible and wrong sound. More joined it in its terrible noise.

Winter ducked through the battle field and stabbed the Parshendi who had began the song. The wound healed. The Parshendi winked at Winter and punched her. She blocked his blow with her knife. It cut through his carapace but it healed instantly.

"I hate fighting gold Compounders." Winter whispered, then burned Zinc and Duralumin. She Rioted his fear to the point of breaking. He looked at her and screamed in panic. Winter smiled, but then another volley of fury came from the Parshendi. She quickly drank another vial made of aluminum with all of the metals inside. Except aluminum.

As she did this, she blocked more furious attacks with her left hand. She dropped the empty vial on the ground, Compounding. She attacked again and again, but the song was spreading. So hateful. So angry. It enraged her. Encouraged her to fight recklessly if it would only end that terrible noise.

A drop of rain fell from the sky. Winter looked up, distracted. It had hit her cheek. Winter stabbed more Parshendi. They kept coming, though. More and more of them. She yanked a crystal spike out of one of their eyes. That Parshendi screamed in pain and then attacked recklessly.

Winter fought back with efficiency, knocking it down, dead. She suddenly felt weak. A naseua in her core. She turned around and saw a Parshendi channeling lightning into her. She stopped storing her pain and suddenly it washed over her. Winter Compounder Pewter, strengthening her body from the agony.

"Stop." She whispered. "Stop." She sped up, destroying the fourteen Parshendi sent to deal with her. They all fell down, dead.

The hum had spred all across the battle ground. Everyone was singing it. Another rain drop fell on Winter's head. Again and again. Down, down, down! Winter fought more and more Parshendi but it barely made a dent in their forces. How was there so many of them? Winter sunk to the ground. More of them were running towards her.

Winter. A whisper through her mind. Fight. Never surrender.

Her wolf. Always there for her. It wasn't just herself she was fighting for. It was their dual soul. Winter stood up again, letting the rain wash over her. The wind was picking up. She slammed her fist into the side of the first Parshendi to reach her. It fell down, gasping. Winter dropped stabbed it quickly.

A coin shot through the air towards her. She saw it and moved just in time. The coin hit a Parshendi on the other side. Winter Pushed herself off of that same coin, shooting towards its origin.

A spray of coins blew towards her, wind directing them closer. Winter dodged all of them, Pushing some of them away. She Pulled one towards her, then ducked it. The redirected trajectory made it hit more Parshendi.

Winter looked at the source of the coins. A Parshendi wearing a sash with metal vials in it. She tried to Pull on them, but they were made of aluminum. Using my own tricks against me, eh? Winter thought. A blast of Soothing power made her determination faulter. Winter burned copper and the touch dissipated. The Parshendi Mistborn did not know finesse.

The Parshendi Mistborn looked like a he. Winter shrugged.

Winter Pulled some discarded coins towards her, grabbing them out of the air. She Pushed them towards the Mistborn, who Pulled himself closer to the ground. Winter dropped to the ground and simply jumped. The Pewter and Steel powered jump made her move fast.

She Compounded Chromium and he moved just the wrong way for Winter to brush by him. She burned Chromium and Leeched all of his metal reserves away. She yanked some of his metal vials away too, drinking them up.

The Mistborn drank more quickly as he dropped to the ground and Pushed on a coin again. He tossed another coin at her. It rocketed at her speedily. Winter stood still and the wind blew at the right time. Chromium. Winter rarely remembered it.

The battlefield was starting to get chilly so Winter Compounded a small amount of brass. More winds and rain. The weather was picking up.

Winter Pushed a coin directly at the Mistborn, tired. She Compounded Chromium and it hit him squarely in the chest and he fell to the ground. Winter fell softly to the ground and Compounded Electrum and Bronze. Her resolve grew and any hint of exhaustion fell away. She continued the battle.

Screwloose snarled as the Railgun was ripped from his hands buy a Parshendi's Ironpull. He drew his his holdout weapon, the aluminium revolver gifted to him by the anti investiture society, and dropped the Parshendi Lurcher with a bullet to the head. Not good. I've only got 5 more rounds, and no gunpowder to create more. Screwloose checked his pouches. Amount the various odds and ends were a pair of motivators, marked with the Allomantic symbols for iron and steel. He smirked. Guess I get to test this after all.

Green light shone from Parshendi weapons as they broke apart, reassembling in an exoskeleton around Screwloose's limbs, anchoring themselves with spikes driven into his skin. the heads up display on his goggles lit up as the Allomantic motivators connected, thin blue lines connecting to the joints of the exoskeleton, but not touching any other sources of metal. A voice chimed in his ear "Artificial spirtweb functional, motivators fully operational, suit is ready for use."

Screwloose grinned manically, swinging at a group of Parshendi. The punch, powered by a combination of science and Allomancy, sent Parshendi flying. Screwloose laughed, drawing more metal into the motivators were it burned, fueling the contraption. "So this is what it feels like to have investiture. I can see why you people are so obsessed about it. Now which of you Parshendi insects wishes to die first?"

Now you know why I wanted the spikes and tissue samples.

Rezen looked over the battle field. The thunderclasts had done well. The listeners were gaining the upper edge despite Winter and the strange Epic's interference. Rezen downed a vial and Pushed off a sword. He landed in front of Winter and duralumin-pushed her into a thunderclast. The storm was building.

(Bah, got mixed up between Thunderclasts, and Chasmfiends. We'll go with we've just got chasmfiends being brought in presently, and we'll come back to Thunderclasts at a later stage. Might edit my original post at somepoint to reflect that better.)

"Winter Cloud is there." A long time nemesis. Urtin nodded to Rezen. "I'll join them myself, I think. Though, I'll wait for the Chasmfiends to come through first." While he had a group attempting to summon some Thunderclasts, he'd got another to 'herd' some Chasmfiends in the direction of this conflict. Looking to the left, he could see distinct dust clouds approaching from that direction. They would be here shortly. He sent an order for the troops on that flank to be prepared to let them through.

Screwloose grunted and righted himself, green light playing over the exoskeleton, reassembling the damaged parts. His goggles had taken the brunt of the blow to the face and the reinforced lenses were spiderwebbed with cracks, fortunately the HUD just about worked. "You dare touch me Insect? I will tear you to pieces!" Screwloose commanded the motivators to flare Steel and swung an armored fist at Resen. The Steelpush powered punch connected solidly and he felt carapace crack beneath the blow.

Is Resen a parshendi? If not i'll edit this post a bit.
