The Parshendi War

Kipper ran toward the Queen, slipping on blood and the gore that coated the battlefield. As he drew near to the royal retinue, he literally skidded to a halt, throwing up a red spray.

"Queen," he said deferentially, bowing low, "how may I help? You know my skills. I offer my services."

"And cookies, of course," he added as an afterthought.

Rayse hated Harmony.  Sazed wanted both to preserve and destroy Rayse.  Rayse worried.  Rayse hated worrying.  Rayse hated this battle.  Rayse fled.  Rayse hated fleeing.

"So, it's over?" Winter was confused.

Queen Elsa turned with the remaining of her army, Her legs still dripping with blood. The Parshendi War was finally over, and it had been a costly battle.

"All are welcome to Newcago Court for a party to celebrate the ending of the war." She said with a smile.

Winter sat on the edge of a plateau, looking off into the distance.

(Stop telling me what to do)

Winter continued gazing off into the distance. So many dead. So many good people and bad people.

Rainspren trekked back to parshendi's camp. Many of their ranks were dead now. lost in the struggle of war, had they even won? Rainspren didn't know. His newly discovered friend hovered just above Rainspren's shoulder. He would receive his payment, the parshendi were notoriously good at that.

He flicked a piece of flesh of his shoulder, Voidus would probably want that back!
