Doc Piffington eyes shot open. He was in a room he had never seen before. The walls were stark white, and the ceiling...glowed? Or parts of it did, illuminating the room with an artificial sunshine. He was on a tile floor, still dressed in his dirty lab coat and duster. His pistol, syringe, meat hammer, and Rioter vials were on a table close to a large, grey door. His boot-knife and emergency scalpel were still tucked away in their secret places, and a half-finished plague mask was on the floor nearby. His outlaw hat was on the other side of the room for some reason, along with his dark goggles and an outstanding large pile of confetti.

Doc Piffington stood up and immediately regretted that decision. Every muscle and bone in his body screamed in agony, and he was so thirsty, his throat felt like it was on fire. He looked around the room for any fluids to drink, and then remembered his emergency alcohol stash. Doc Piffington reached into his lab coat and pulled out a flask filled with Twinborn Village Whiskey. (It's So Good, It's Killer!) He sniffed the leather-bound flask and took a long draw, rejoicing at the burning sensation.

Doc Piffington felt a wet spot begin to form on his neck and down to his shirt. He look down, and saw the wet spot growing even larger. Just then, the Doc felt a sharp pain in his neck, and on impulse clutched his left hand to the spot. He then gasped, only it came out like a low growl. A bullethole passed through his Leras's Apple, into his trachea and out the posterior side.

"By the storming pilgrimage..... I really haven't been paying attention" Muttered the Baron to himself. "So what precisely has been going on? I've been rather preoccupied, but a new war has piqued my interest."

Mostly it has been parshendi, controlled by Rayse, trying to assassinate Elsa, but now it seems we have an all out war.

Kinda. I figured we should have a new topic, though. So someone who wanted to read it didn't have to go through all different threads to find it.

If anyone wants tacos I'll be here, otherwise I'll let the others from the DA sort it out, I'm sure they have an invention or two up their sleeve.

Abundance of Doctors(name not final) would like to make it clear that we are not currently members of 'The Alliance'. While the details have yet to be finalized, the Abundance of Doctors(name not final) will support 'The Alliance' in its conflict against the Parshendi, but this is due to an alignment in interests as opposed to being in response to any existing official political arrangements with 'The Alliance'.

(Authorized and spoken by Dr Rab Heatherlocke, Politcal Advisor and Diplomat of 'Abundance of Doctors(name not final)')

"May I suggest sending Venture, and perhaps a few others, to gather intelligence behind enemy lines? I can attest to his skills as an infiltrator." Screwloose adjusted his goggles. "I'm sure none of us want to go charging off into the unknown after all."

Okee-dokey. That will be a challenge but- suddenly the doors burst open and Parshendi streamed in. Following them was a Shardbearer. Ven fell from a axe to the chest a moment later.

Ven hit the ground hard. The blow had knocked out his spike charged with the power of a Fullborn so he couldn't heal or burn anything. He sucked in Stormlight healing his wound. He was almost out. He Lashed a dozen coins to his opponents and his spren Magik formed into a Shardblade. Ven yelled, sweeping through the Parshendi in Bloodstance, which focused on powerful strokes and good footing. " Figh!t" Ven yelled. And they did.

Voidus helpfully held out a taco, oblivious to the Parshendi weapons which were leveled at him which broke the second they touched him.

"Taco Ven? They're good."

Screwloose sighed. Would it really be too much to ask for a little time to plan? The weapons of the Parshendi surrounding him broke apart, reassembling in his hands to form a large rifle. Twisting, Screwloose fired, high powered rounds punching through Parshendi carapace, before smacking a charging Parshendi to one side with the butt of the weapon.

"If you wouldn't mind lending a hand rather than arguing over tacos we might actually finish these slontzes off before next week."

Winter transformed into a wolf, tapping speed, strength, healing, determination, and a bunch of other attributes. Her wolf took over,, enhancing the skill of already near storming perfect attributes. She cleared an area around herself with ease. Destroy. The wolf wanted to kill them all. They'd kill us for who we are. She insisted. No. We're better than that. Winter changed back human, pulling out her daggers. Sje burned steel, shooting coins all around her. The double enhanced metals, along with being a bronze savant, let the chaos spread. She was death. And life. And fury.

Can somebody please rescue Doc Piffington from Damnation?

It's boring.

Ven fought in a blaze of Stormlight and power. He dropped 2 Parshendi with a waist-low swing then Lashed himself towards a pair. His Stormlight was running out though. He was holding his breath though, so it was draining slowly, but the enhanced speed and strength was the only thing that was keeping him alive. If the Light ran out though, he had no other powers except a Shardblade and a egotistical spren. The Light ran out.

Screwloose continued firing, assembling bullets directly into the chamber. He spun, forming a grande out of a parshendi axe and the gunpowder in his own pouches, and hurling it towards the doors. It detonated, scattering Parshendi.

"Any idea how many more there are? i'm starting to run out of gunpowder."

Winter ran towards Venture, tossing him an extra infused emerald sphere.

"Take this!" She yelled, clearing the area around him.

Doc Piffington could hear sounds of conflict outside. He really had to pee, so he hoped that whoever was fighting was A: Here for the Doc and B: Not here to kill him.

Doc Piffington whistled an old military tune his grandfather had once sung to him.
