Ya, that makes sense. Last week my sister and I were hit by another car (100% not our fault). The officer who came (because it was a hit and run) was completely indifferent and seeming uncaring as we told our story. It wasn’t that he didn’t care, he just couldn’t care to much, because he deals with this stuff everyday and sometimes he just isn’t feeling bright and sunny. No hard feelings! The first reminds me of that scene from the Doctor Who episode "Crash of the Byzantium": Father Octavian: Dr. Song, I've lost good clerics today. You trust this man? River: I absolutely trust him. The second one struck me, because even though that is how it would be, from their intents you might assume the opposite.
