MistbornAlpaca
Brandon Sanderson once tried to write with paper and pen... He couldn't find a pen that could take the pressure

RShara
Brandon Sanderson once said, "Behold! Let there be light!" And his book obediently burst into flames. True story (mostly). Edited February 17, 2018 by RShara
Nathrangking
Brandon Sanderson once punched Adonalsium so hard that it caused the shattering. Brandon was once known as Brandon the Creative. He once had a drink with Tavanast. He grants the Nightwatcher's boons. Truthless of Shinovar
NECRO TIME!! Not many people know, but Brandon was an avid writer as a child too. He just went under the pen name J.R.R Tolkien. While studying to become a scientist, Brandon managed to actually make one of his early magic systems that created insane amounts of energy work. We just call the “science” nuclear fusion. Brandon has a valid reason for leaving his account on the 17th Shard; he once spent to long at the fanfic section and wrote Edgedancer. While he was very proud of his work, he knew that next time, he wouldn’t be able to resist finishing the rest of the Cosmere. Brandon was once taken hostage by a group of thieves on a foggy night. He convinced them to let him go, but only on the condition that he wrote a book about them. And thus, Mistborn was written. Failsafe
Occasionally, Brandon Sanderson will write a character so fleshed out they literally pop into existence. This has only happened three times and he considers them his children.
Nathrangking
Brandon takes Odium's pain. Once Brandon grew angry and stamped his foot. The result of this was the shattered plains. One day when Brandon was bored he began to doodle. Hours later the Cosmere sprang into being. His stray thoughts were once collected which is where the Encyclopedia Brittanica came from.
Eluvianii
And so this glorious thread refuses to die. Brandon considered normal puzzles to be beneath his level, so he created the Diagram. Brandon has been to the moon. Also to the entire solar system. It wasn't interesting enough for him so he decided to create his own universe, hence, the Cosmere was born. The things we call personality and human nature are actually character development written by Brandon which was so good, it seeped into reality. The only reason other things written by him such as magic have not seeped into reality too is because Brandon knows humanity is not ready for that, so he prevents it. For now.

NameIess
Just now, DoomStick said: Since when? It was briefly mentioned in Oathbringer, and it is talked about in the early readings of Rhythm of War. Brandon also said this: Spoiled for very slight Stormlight spoilers and length: Spoiler stormfather (paraphrased) Does the plague on the Purelake has anything to do with the fact that the magic fish form symbiotic bonds with spren? Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) No, worldhoppers brought a disease to Roshar that they didn't have before. It's the common cold. Rosharans' Investiture makes it so they're usually a healthy bunch so something like the cold is kind of frightening. "It's a plague of the sniffles." stormfather [Alternate wording from ZenBossanova's report] (paraphrased) Another person asked about the plague in the Purelake. Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) Turns out, that was a pathogen introduced by worldhoppers. People on Roshar normally have greater health than elsewhere in the cosmere because they are more Invested (Stormlight and all that). This plague was what we call… the common cold.
