Ruin: Mr Gold from Once Upon a Time
Because he plays a very good dual personality. Evil, loveable, crazy, kind, murderous, caring, treacherous.
Mr.Gold

Hoid: James Veitch
Yeah, he hasn't done any film acting, but he fits the personality perfectly, I feel. In his own words, he doesn't know when to stop.
He is brilliant and sassy, and he loves toying with people.

Not sure about most of the parts, but I'm pretty sold on Michael Fassbender as Marsh.

I've been watching a lot of Stargate Universe recently and thought of another choice for Vin...

Elyse Levesque even though I think she is a bit tall for it...

She would be perfect for Vin!

I kinda think that Millie Bobby Brown could probably make a pretty good Vin, in a couple years of course since she’s currently only 14 and Vin was 16 (as of Final Empire).

I like this, I think she would make a great Vin.

I also kind of think that Lucy Hale might make a good Vin.

James Veitch as Hoid is my new favorite thing

I am terrible with names of actors so I know I'm gonna take about 15 posts to do this right but since hearing if this my mind shot to the idea that you'd need a former "Disney" actor (or so.eone of similar age and general build) to play Vin otherwise the portrayal of the real vulnerability wouldn't be there. Isaac Hempstead Wright seemed right for Spook to me.

Don't ask me why but Doxin always looks like Alexander SIddig to me, I think it is the odd culture sounding accent that I think he would need to have.

Mark Gatiss To me seems to be born to be a soother. Especially after his Sherlock portrayal and his assisting appearance on Game of Thrones.

If I could pick an impossible Saz it would be Tom Hiddleston. He is highly analytical and speaks similar to the way I think Saz must when he shows his sudden emphasis on speaking about religions in the first book.

Sean Austin as Dockson. Chris Pine as Kelsier.

Only problem is I am still in love with Michael Fassbender as Marsh, and he and Chris pine don't look much alike. They might be able to make it work.

I can’t express in words how awesome this would be.

Mistborn: Directed by Quentin Tarantino, with Samuel L. Jackson as Kelsier, Christoph Waltz as Breeze, Uma Thurman as Shan Elarial, and Tim Roth as the Lord Ruler.

This isn't about casting but about the company that would be needed for creating the obligators and for Saz. I'd recommend ADI - Amalgamated Dynamics. Seems like the smart choice, and no this isn't an ad or something just seen their work over the years in the Alien and Predator series and sorry for bothering you.

Personally I'd rather go for Fassbender as Kelsier. He gets typecast a lot as the Resident Creeper (probably because of Prometheus), but he can also pull off Kelsier's joking side, and the man is, after all, supposed to be dreadfully intimidating. Chris Pine wouldn't be bad, but I'd be getting way too much of a Captain Kirk vibe.

As for Hoid, I'm all over Paul Bettany (if you're skeptical, check out his performance as Geoffrey Chaucer in A Knight's Tale).

Consider those reversed. Paul Bettany would make a good Kell, and Fassbender just always looks like he's laughing at a private joke and he knows more than you.

Don't know if this has been suggested before, but I think Morgan Freeman would make an excellent Sazed. He's got that calm inducing voice, and just exudes a very Saze-esque quality.

Actually, now that I've read stormlight, I think Mr Gold could do ruin or odium.

Dockson: Sean Austin

Kelsier: Chris Hemsworth

Marsh: Liam Hemsworth

Clubs: J.K. Simmons

Spook: Zac Efron

Breeze: Steve Carell

Ham: Paul Rudd

Some of these I wasn't thinking very hard on and I couldn't find an actor to fit Vin.

I just don't want Vinn to look like she's never had a hard day in her life. Sometimes they try to cast someone too attractive for a role.

James Roday could make a good Hoid, especially in the Wit persona.
