He apparently has an aversion to 3.5 for some reason. The remaining friend is the one who wanted to be a meatsheild and would reluctantly be a rogue. @Thor Yeah you can have a party of clerics, but they won't be as effective as specialist roles. @Kchan I have a lot of experience playing D&D, you can ask me if you have problems. @Comatose What Eerongal said. Since it's starting at level 1, you would either need to use the drow savage progression or use the lesser drown printed in players guide to faerun, but other than that, yes, theyre allowed. 2. Monks and rangers are core base classes, so yes. The bladesinger is a PrC, so you can become one, you just can't start as one (i think the latest printing of it was in complete warrior) 3. same with drow, they have LA, but there's a lesser version in PGtF (i dont know of any savage progression, but we could probably come up with one) 4. I'm not familiar with this race off hand, but i guess it depends on if it has LA/HD or not. 5. Right here 6. I'm not aware of any lesser or savage progression for these two races, though we could probably devise one. 7. Whenever (no real timetable) / Here on the forums (play by post) / Using topics to post actions, and using the dice roller in the resources thread to share your dice rolls. "Good" depends on how well you build and play it Actually, for everyone meeting, i was going to make a generic in-character "meet up" thread that people could RP their meeting out and form parties before entering the dungeon, i was just going to wait until we had at least 4 characters to get it started. As far as character history, that's yours to decide. Edit: also, there's many guides online to character building, so if you're unsure about monk, you could always look up discussions on it like this. Threads like that are all over the internet and the break down the class, it's ups and downs, and various options that come off as good (and help to avoid pitfalls that can end up making your character subpar) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
