Dueling thread!

The Mistress observed quietly in one corner of the room, sitting on a small black stool, sipping tea. She smiled at how quickly the Scholar's wounds healed. This was why they loved hurting each other. They were both very difficult to kill.

She enjoyed drawing first blood. It felt right, stabbing him in the same place healed by the Torturer Princess. She wanted to stop there, but his throat beckoned, and her knife just had to taste the Scholar's blood.

Overkill, she thought, looking at how blatantly he showed his powers. This Scholar doesn't know moderation, and she learned from her mistakes the first time. True, she can heal, but it can hurt like hell. And the remembrance of pain is something that lingers.

The duplicate doll was riddled with bullets and fried by Force lightning. The Scholar forgot that as far as dark powers are concerned, she has ventured beyond what is considered evil.

She sipped the tea, hidden calmly in a shield of shadows, and contemplated the puzzle the Scholar presented. There was no fun in retaliation when it was all just going to end up in the same thing - healing. She didn't want to kill the Scholar because eternity was just lonelier without a nemesis. But she wants him to hurt. Longer.

LeftInch strode towards the corpse pulling a packet out from his pocket. There was something wrong....The corpse wasn't healing! Quite Careless of QC. Better not let her see that he knew. As he got closer to the corpse he poured the content of the packet into his mouth. Spice should help to make sure the Scholar kept the long end of the stick.

The Mistress continued to sit in the Shadows, huskily laughing at the Scholar's attempt to mask his surprise. She had no issues with sound on the other side of the dark veil. He couldn't see her, couldn't hear her, and she was there to observe what he did when he thought he had the upper hand.

Spice. If her calculations were correct, one of her kitchen maids would have exchanged that packet with a substance that looked like spice, tasted like spice, but is far from the potency of real melange. It would give a kick, but less of the heightened awareness.

She knew the Scholar had a spice addiction, apparent in the bright blue of his irises. And so with the help of her trusted crew, she crafted a powder similar to his favorite drug, with added Wafflerasium. It was the same concoction she infused the battle waffles with.

She didn't want a confused Scholar. She wanted control. She wanted him to hear her voice speak a word, and be hers. He has been taking the false spice for a few days now, and he is almost primed.

A slave Scholar would be useful indeed.

Oh crap, I am so tempted to just pull, Oh yeah well i did a so and so, but I wanna see where this goes.

LeftInch suppressed a shiver as the Spice entered his system. His brain seemed to slip a little, but he decided to let it go for now. He focused on the force harder trying to concentrate and sense his nemesis. There was absolutely nothing unusual though. Things still weren't right, but there wasn't enough to make the run to lightspeed. It looked like it was time to use one of his new tricks. The Scholar pulled out his lightsaber, dissasembled it and took a piece of black steel from inside. He then reasembled it and swallowed the steel. As he burned the steel invested with the darkside of the force he looked around one last time and then started running with compound speed.

It is always nice to see where free RP goes. In this, I echo Delightful's enjoyment in writing scary RP.

Interesting. Another day then. She doesn't have the time or the inclination to chase after the Scholar today. She had too much to check on, a full staff to run, multiple kitchens to supervise, slaves to punish.

There are other worlds than these. Upvotes for the reference.

The Mistress stood up and opened a gateway and stepped back to Chaos' lair, the gateway winking out behind her.

That was fun, she thought.

The Panda watched, amused, at the fight that occurred. So that was how the Waffle Mistress got her seemingly bottomless supply of slaves and servants. Interesting. He made a mental not to never eat anything unchecked from the Wafflesworn kitchen. Hopefully, the scholar wouldn't notice that half his collection of lightsabres were missing, replaced by fakes that shot out an interesting variety of objects when activated. Rainbows were one of the more mundane objects.

Oh, and good duel you guys. Ought to say something remotely on topic, even if it is... out-of-character.
