It says in Lost Metal that she manifests a bunch of different forms of investiture. Metals may be crystals, but not all crystals are metals, and I don't think TwinSoul's aether crystals were metallic. I agree each type of Investiture should have a single solid form - Silajana isn't going to also have an aethermetal, and Ruin doesn't have a solid Investiture form other than atium. Also, I was saying that investiture must be crystaline rather than metalic, not that because it was crystiline it must be metalic.
