Currently: No experience. Mid confidence in sight reading. Mid -1 confidence in rhythm. No confidence in improvisation. What could go wrong :D. My experience: moderate Sight reading: those notes are suggestions anyway, right? Improv: high, expect some spicy chords Rhythm: have a tendency to overcomplicate things and get confused Groove: weakest part- friends say I gotta work on my "stank" face XD Currently: working on my BASS lines 0 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted November 4, 2022 My experience: much (but weak) Sight reading: If you see me with sheet music it's to figure out what the first few notes are. I will play by ear as soon as I wrap my head around the key and funk Improv: 99 percent. Incapable of contrary motion and just mashes full octave chords all the time with my left. Right hand does whatever it wants in the meantime. Rhythm: "have a tendency to overcomplicate things and get confused" Groove: I have fun. Doesn't mean I'm good at it.
