Ahem, I really hate to be a stick in the mud or annoying but, ‘oldest’ in this sense is grammatically incorrect because oldest is usually used to refer to something that is the most old but when referring to age or someone then you would use the word ‘eldest’ with an “e”. Sorry I’m so annoying. You can use whichever form you wish it doesn’t actually matter unless it’s in an essay or on a test. Sorry :D

I learned that "oldest" can be for people/things but "eldest" for only people.

Eldest is definitely better for essay/tests though :)

It's all good.

Does anyone else have little brothers who go through phases where they obsess over one specific thing, and THEY WON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME?

I mean, yes, but not to the degree that it's annoying. I think it's funny. And adorable. My sisters have all had things like that as well.
