I'll Turn Your Ideas Into Music!

Oooo, what about:

The feeling of hope; the feeling that everything will be okay- but it won’t just be ok, it will be amazing. Everything was absolutely terrible before, but it’s taking a full 180. It’s both calm and energetic, graceful, fast, and slow all at the same time. It’s a powerful feeling, and it feels like nothing in the world can stop the future from turning in your favor.

I'm here now >:D

Have a poem:

The road meanders ahead,
The lonely road that stretches
Far over the frosted land.
An owl hoots as the sun sets,
Beads of glimmering fire
Set in the frozen trees.
The snow crunches beneath each step
Glimmering crystals shattering,
Glittering even in death.
Soft thumps echo,
Through the lonely valley
Up the next hill,
And through the trees.
It follows the road,
Lonely and cold
Towards a warm cabin.
My home.

(I know it has like no rhyme or rhythm but uhhh yems)

Okay I got inspired by @Telrao and when I was younger I had this thing where I loved writing poems so here is one I wrote years ago:

The silky white blanket coated the ground
The first snowfall falling silently,
Like floating feathers all around
The bare trees, covered with soft, cold cotton
The once autumn leaves, now forgotten
With a slight chill in the air
Snow rests upon the ground with care
On the branches, icicles are found
As if they were frozen in mid-reach to the ground
Listen closely, you’ll hear a faint hum,
Whispering quietly, “Winter has come”

And here is one I wrote for school a year or so ago:

The battered bay who
Never sees morning glory
Enclosed in a tarnished stall.

Ridden and worked, day after day,
Speckled with dirt and a hirsute coat
Not clipped for the summer.

This mare, treated unfairly,
Never to see the green pastures to graze
Or the sun, a flower in full bloom overhead.

I trace my fingers along
The venerable cuts on her side,
Where the spur kicked too hard.

The old horse heaves a sigh
In pain and relief,
I saw this horse and took pity upon her,

So I let her free.

... Pick whichever you feel more inspired to do <33

Creaking back, bending back

Tension tight, hold it there

Releasing, follow through

Watch the sight, feel it hit

See it dip below the yellow

Turn in mind, what went wrong

Creak back string

Release again

See it hit, the golden yellow

Try again, that perfect shot

Once again, fall short

Try again, again, and again

Feel the calm that settles inside

Follow through, all golden yellow

Turn in to rest, Fingers blistered, muscles sore

Yet a acceptance of events, flows through you

And you can sleep soundly once more

BEFORE WE BEGIN WITH THE NEXT ROUND OF RECORDINGS

I'D JUST LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY TITLES

"You're a castaway princess turned bounty hunter after your older brother was murdered by the person you most trusted. On your journey to find lost friends, you stumble upon ruins of a town, still smoking, burning, crumbling. There's something bigger out there, and you realize you may be the only one with the knowledge and capability to fight it. Will you turn back and risk your life to warn your people who hate you of the threat, or will you stand by, keeping your own life out of more trouble, and watch everything and everyone you loved burn?"

In "Castaway" I embraced the drama. It's a ruined, smoking, CRUMBING castle for storming's sake. I kind of thought of this as the protagonist's call to adventure—her epic moment where she finally decides if she will be the heroine she was destined to be and redeem her older brother.

You're out in <INSERT FANTASY WORLD HERE> in the jungle. A thunderstorm has broken, and while searching for shelter, you find a village that wasn't there before...

For "Thunder Adventures" I used the upper registers of the piano for the rain and the lower BASS to communicate the enormity and grandness of thunder. It's pretty clear when the protagonist actually finds the village as the tone of the piece totally shifts, but I thought this one was really fun!

"Glee" was genuinely uplifting. I really enjoyed the melody of this one. I think it's so filled with hope and joy and such good vibes that this is one of my favorites.

(@CalanoCorvus part of me wants you to write lyrics and put it on spotify :P

"Frozen Walk" is divided into two sections. The first part tells the story of "snow crunches" and "crystals shattering" "glittering even in death" then it calms down into "soft thumps [that] echo". This section builds a little bit until (how I picture it in my head, at least), the "camera" finally pans towards the warm cabin, alone among the frozen land.

"Blankets of Snowflakes" is a peaceful piece (rhymey thing :P) that in my opinion captures the carefree joy of admiring the beauty of a winter wonderland. I hope you enjoy!

I made "Bowstring" a little jazzier just for some variety and I think it's a fun change. I know you love Archery, Wiz, so I tried to capture what it means to practice over and over again until you get it. I love the last line "and you can sleep soundly once more".

And that's another round of prompts! I hope you all enjoy! Feel free to keep them coming. I can't promise they'll be done as promptly as this, but I'll do my best!

1. Loving someone you know you can never have. Longing for them, dreaming of them, aching to hold them, but knowing your feelings will never be reciprocated

2. When the world beats you down, you stand straight. Because what you are hoping for is not a strength to beat others down or repel others, but rather a strength that allows you to quietly endure hurtful things and be stronger for it.

3. This quote- "I swear to you to think too much is a disease, an actual real disease"- Notes from Underground

You can take any of these or none of these! Up to you! : D no pressure

The draw length isn't long enough for me :P

I mean, I'm done because I'm graduating this year :P

I'd love to keep doing it. I'd need longer arrows though because of my very large draw length :P

It's alright. I like biking even more. I am a rather crazy cylist enthusiast :P

I have a prompt for you @Shining Silhouette if you want to try.

Perhaps you'd like to try putting music to Shatter Me? :eyes:

Spoiler

Shatter me

Tear me down

Shove me to the brink

Toss me over

Send me careening into the depths of

Fear

Loneliness

Depression

Suicide

Take my fear

Rip it

Twist it

Grow it into vines

Strangle me in the fear of

Myself

Love

Laughter

Joy

The Light

Living

Take my bridges

Shatter them

Rip them

Set them on fire

Leave me stranded when the storms come

Alone

Alone

Alone

Send the storms

Hide me from sight in their embrace

The smothering blackness

Let it seep inside

Choke out the light

Let the rain freeze, me

The lightning strike, me

I don't care

Anymore

Anymore

Anymore

Take me to the eye of the storm

Show the bleakness before

The utter darkness to come

Shove me into the darkness

Show me there is no other choice

No other way

There never was any light, only darkness

That this is the only option, to end it on my terms

It’s time to say goodbye

There never was another way

Never

Never

Never

Shatter Me, God

Grind my bones under pestle and mortar

Flay me past death

Send me into the Abyss

So that I can truly

See

Learn

Grow

Change

Help

Hope

Love

Break this tainted glass

Rip out the blinders

Obliterate my perfect little world

Crumple me with pain

O how did I not see it before

Cries my soul

As I truly see for the first time

Their fear

Their pain

Their struggles

Send me their pain

Make me their rock

Dump it all on me

Watch it shatter me

Overwhelm me to paralysis

Bring back my demons

Start to drag me under once more

How do you help

How

How

How

Send me deeper

Shatter me some more

Set the world upon my shoulders

Keep a steadying hand nearby as I fall

Catch the world and put it back

Show me that I can

Encourage

Support

Help

Teach

Shatter me

So that I can help

Tear me down

So I can grow back stronger

Shove me to the brink

So I can see them

Toss me over

To save them

Send me careening into the depths

To bring them back

Fear

Open your eyes

Loneliness

You are never alone

Depression

I am here

Suicide

Give a hug

There is light

Help

Hope

Love

Beauty
