Ruined City of ???: Central Prism

Nameless shook his head. "No, Callandor is too dangerous. Far too dangerous. Rue, I don't know if this is going to work, but I don't have any better ideas. Are you going to initiate the link?"

Clinic: Lobby

Calano fell to his knees in front of the cloak.

He knew people were gathering around him.

He knew he should do something.

But he couldn't.

He dropped his swords, and they vanished in a puff of Light.

Then he screamed. Again. Loudly. Powerfully.

It seemed he'd done too much screaming lately, as this scream hurt. Physically and emotionally.

But gods be damned... he'd just had to do the unthinkable.

Clinic: Lobby

Matra ran over to Calano, who was on the floor screaming. It was a powerful sound, filled with worlds of pain and anguish. She couldn’t even begin to imagine what was going through his head.

“What… what happened?” she wondered aloud softly.

I accidentally gave us away on one of the projects. I kind of glitched or something. But what was living in the clinic like?

The Clinic: Roof

It was interesting, I generally was in the dark, because the light was dangerous and scary. I made deals with my friends from the dark and eventually got possessed by one who I thought was my best friend.

Thaidakar smiled, "This will be fun to watch... If you want, I can bring out the sword, Nameless. Or, I think I can..."

“You had—nevermind.” Rue glares at the ground. “Someday, Asha’man, I will find something particularly suitable to do to you. But in the meantime…” She begins preparing the link.

The book is mostly accurate, except eventually she escaped from it. That was when I met her actually, she said she felt a pull and following it, escaped her world.

Thaidakar smiled, adjusting his glasses, "yeah, things were crazier back then in the clinic."

Did Wizard or Calano do anything about the possession?

They sealed me in the basement and left me under the control of the Nethergrim for CENTURIES! CENTURIES WHEN I WAS KNOWN AS THE SPEAKK AND I WAS TRAPPED IN MY MIND. TREATED AS A DOLL BY THE NETHERGRIM, TO BE HER TOY TO DO WITH AS SHE WOULD!

Lerac watched on, astonished. Malum seemed mildly interested.

"I'm... dead," Tors said. Her form began dissolving in wisps of shadow. She looked down at herself, seeming to see despite her destroyed eyes. "How did you do this?"

Wynn looked at her hands (which were dripping with Shadow) in confusion. "Did I do this? Shadows can be unpredictable at times, but... Hang on. Malum, is this a trick?"

The god shook his head slowly. "I couldn't manage that in my current state."

Tors looked back up at her. "This is me. It's... who I used to be. I remember." She continued fading away.

Wynn shocked Tors with a little more Shadow energy. If it worked once, it might work twice. "And who were you?" She asked.

Her form resolidified, but it seemed to be fading faster.

"A person. It's fuzzy. I... was lost, somehow. Or I felt that way. And eventually, Bonum took me in and used my soul to make a weapon."

The Clinic: Roof

When I learned that they'd never stopped trying and that they stopped exploring the dimension and built the clinic over where I was sealed. They just didn't have the power to free me without some extra help.

So you didn't have your parents but you had Calano and Wizard. You guys all seem pretty close.

We were and we pranked each other all the time.

A hint of wistfullness and a choatic feeling is impressed upon Insa.

Those were fun times, we had much fun together before...before I was taken by the nethergrim.

Nameless shot Thaidakar a glare s he entered the link with Rue. I tell you to stay quiet about Callandor and you go and bring it up like that?

Thaidakar smiled, knowing perfectly well why Nameless was glaring at him.
