StripesGus
Ok, When reading the scene with Adolin fighting to save the Honour Spren right before they made it to lasting integrity, I was on the edge of my seat thinking that he was going to die! BUT listening to Shardcast and others talk about it, nobody thought for one second that it could be the end of Adolin! My question is, am I alone thinking that He was going to die? Here is why I think that it was going to happen, and thought that it would have made sense too. - The big question was how were they going to get help from the honour Spren? By Adolin fighting for AND dying for a honour Spren it would show that honour is not dead in humans, that and Adolin's sacrifice being the main catalyst for a change of heart in the honour Spren and their relationship with Humans. To me it made too much sense and I thought it was happening as I was reading it! (happy that it did not happen though! haha). Am I alone in thinking this while reading that scene? Frustration
I'm with shardcast on this one, I thought he was fine. Welcome to the shard.

HSuperLee
I didn't necessarily think he was going to die, but I could see a situation where the Honorspren condemned him to some kind of life imprisonment. Which I figured would lead to Shallan created a breakout attempt, and then Adolin refusing to go with her, hoping that by accepting the condemnation, he might be able to honorspren's minds, as well as not wanting to further alienate them by going against their laws. I wasn't sure exactly how that would end, though.
Toaster Retribution
I don’t really remember, but I do believe I thought he might die at one point during the fight. But then, Brandon has not really been killing off a lot of main characters in Stormlight yet, so him dying there would feel wierd for that reason.

I like it when the stakes in books are real and you don't if the characters will die or not! That is when I get worried that a character will die soon! When it has been too long since that last surprise death!
The Sibling
I thought he was going to die for sure. I really love that part though, when he's fighting with the whole "stand your ground" moment.
Crucible of Shards
I didn’t think he was going to die, mainly because him and Maya had been too built up to let him die by that point.

I think he's going to die early book 5. Dalinar's story arc is going to be about reaching Adolin in the spiritual realm, and that's going to provide the pieces needed to restore May's, and thus the other dead Blades.
Morningtide
I wasn't worried about Adolin, but that fight was one of my favorite scenes in the whole book. AerionBFII
I didn’t feel the suspense to be honest, it was a cool fight scene but in this occasion plot armour was stronger than steel.
