Emotional Allomancy plus Soulcasting?

Trusk'our

Question

I believe that in order to Soulcast something, you have to convince it to change by speaking to its cognitive aspect, then feed it investiture to fuel that change. Could this process be made easier by using emotional Allomancy to make the object more willing to change?

You can't burn metals in the cognitive realm (if you remember, in Mistborn Secret Story, when Kelsier tries to burn a nail, he fails).–––Or may be because Kelsier was a Cognitive Shadow...

And also you shouldn't be able to use magic with cognitive aspects of objects.

I agree on the likelihood of emotional allomancy working on an object's cognitive aspect, but yea Kelsier definitely couldn't burn the nails because he was only a cognitive shadow. I don't see any reason why Kaladin would be able to lash himself in Shadesmar, but an Allomancer couldn't burn metals.
