Can you Soulcast gemstones? Crystal is one of the Ten Essences... Edit: I asked this over on Discord, Dr Rockso showed me this page: from Ch 33 of Way of Kings "said to be impossible"

If no one has posted this before, I would be surprised, but I couldn't find it here, so I'll say it. On page 363 (paperback edition, unfortunately) of the Way of Kings, in one of Dalinar's visions (the one on the farm) it says So the stance that works best against the Midnight Essence, a type of creature that bleeds smoke, happens to be called Smokestance? Probably not a coincidence. Maybe each stance was created to fight a certain type of... well, they aren't voidbringers, but a different type of creature of Odium? Stonestance, for example, could be powerful against thunderclasts? I know that the stances are based off of the ten essences, but what if they're also good for fighting different creatures? Perhaps Odium made different creatures out of the ten essences? There might not be anything here, but that fact that Smokestance works best against creatures of smoke seems like too big of a coincidence for me.

On the ten Essences chart on the Coppermind, There are 7 things associated with each other. Number, Gemstone, Essence, Body Focus, Soulcasting Properties, Divine Attributes, Herald. I believe there should be more. Due to the Holy number of Vorin tradition and Roshar, 10, a chart like this would have 10 Categories or Columns during the Days of the KR. 10 by 10. This chart was made in World by the Ars Arcanum Author (Khriss?) so it can be Wrong. I think we can add the specific Order of the KR onto the chart, matched to their Herald, as well as the Silver Kingdom. This way, the Chart would be More Holy, and probably closer to the in-world version. So for Number 2, Nale's row, we could add Skybreakers and Natanatan. This still leaves one more Column, unless you count the Divine attributes as two, bu t I don't think that's likely. The Capitols of each Silver kingdom could Work, or the Spren of the KR. (I'm assuming that each of the Silver kingdoms also had a specific Herald more so than others. I'm guessing Natanatan because it sounds closest to Nale.) And I apologize if someone had proposed this before, but I coulnd't find anything like it.

I was looking through all the theories, and something came to my mind. Is there any link between the Metallic Arts and the Ten Essences, specifically hemalurgy? I mean, the Ten Essences have body foci, and so does hemalurgy and allomancy. Is there any kind of correlation going on here?
