Imagine for a second what would happen if a Forger became Radiant or if a Radiant learned Forgery. Ignoring obvious obstacles (Forgery not working off of Sel, physical inability for a Radiant and their spren to leave Roshar, etc), this could be quite powerful. Most of the time, a Forger would have to spend a while physically making a soulstamp, but a Radiant far enough in their oaths could just near-instantly summon their spren in the form of a soulstamp. They would have to spend some time perfecting the shape, but this is still much easier than meticulously carving the exact right form where the penalty for failure is starting over from scratch. The only other thing they'd need is ink, which probably wouldn't be too hard to come by. (As a side note, which Radiant order would be the best suited for Forgery? I'm thinking Lightweavers would be the best, with most of the others okay with it depending on the circumstances, and Skybreakers taking roughly the same view as the Rose Empire's government.)

I couldn’t find very many threads about forgery, and the possibilities of soulstamps, so I made one! I honestly think soulstamps are really cool, and I’m curious to see what people think up about how you can use them. ( I also may or may not be gathering ideas for my alleyverse character ). I’ll start with an idea that came to my mind: what if you could soulstamp a sword while fighting to make it extra hot or frigid, or to soulstamp poison onto it or something? You could even change its shape, and switch tactics in a flash. I don’t know If that sounds dumb, but I figured the possibilities could be cool .

I recently saw a topic about how being a gold misting would help your soulforgery: This got me thinking back to an idea I had a while ago (and then forgot cause I'm such a genius) that Shades do very similar things as soulstamps: they write a new/changed copy of your soul. So, this opened up several questions: Could you learn why Shades are able to make such powerful and different writings over one's soul, and possibly incorporate this into your soulstamps to make very powerful soulstamps? Also, could you, with a soulstamp, turn a Shade back into a human? Or make a human into a Shade with a soulstamp? I personally think (or want to) that we could learn to make more powerful soulstamps less likely to be rejected, but I'd like to hear other people's ideas on the subject (Perhaps there is something I'm forgetting that makes me wrong?).

Keep in mind this is a hypothetical situation, so please ignore the human rights abuse. Right, so it'e been established that for stamps to take, likelihood of the desired result happening in the first place is key. So, here is my idea for overcoming the limit of hemalurgic spikes you can safely apply to yourself, without a god taking over (kind of.) Get a real big wheel and a harpoon gun. Strap sixteen mistings or ferrings or whatever to the wheel, then get it spinning. then load a bunch or hemalurgic spikes into the harpoon gun, go stand behind the wheel, then fire the spikes at yourself, through the wheel. Hopefully a spike will pass through it's compatible misting and into you, giving you the corresponding power. Now, if you want a different power, apply an essence mark to yourself, re-writing your history so that a different spike hit you. Ta-Da! New power, and all you have to carry around are soul stamps. Do you think it's posible

In Emperor's Soul, soulstamps were only used for forgery, beautification, or healing, but what other uses could there be? Could you take an old rusty sword and 'reforge' it into a brand new one? Or fix a roof that had fallen in? Or recover an extremely important manuscript that had been burned irreparably? Anyone have ideas? I think there are great possibilities out there! Edit: This would also be great for warfare. Soldiers could carry around pre-prepared mini stamps for their most important pieces of equipment; e.g. if your sword breaks, stamp it, it's as good as new. Any damage is instantly repairable.
