I’ve been reading in Kindle but my physical books were just delivered and I’m confused. The endpapers are beautiful but I’m not sure who they are! Here is what Brandon says in his acknowledgement/preface blurb. Front inside cover with woman in green dress looks like Truthwatcher/Paliah to me. There is a tree branch growing in the background. Logic Spren (looks like storm clouds) are in this painting. But Brandon clearly states that Paliah is not displayed in this book. Front first page illustration is of a man in purple and blue robes holding a sword with the Willshaper symbol on it — whom I assume is Kalak / Kelek. But again the blurb seems to indicate that these two characters were saved for the next book. Did someone make a last minute change or am just to tired from staying up late reading last night? The last page is obviously Nale — a man in uniform with a sword. Signed by Ortiz. (Are those Larkins in the background?) The last endpaper on the back cover is a stunning painting of a woman with red hair holding a sword (with both hands uncovered *gasp* ) in front of a background of a beautiful stone archway with dust blowing around it. I assume this is the Dustbringer Chanaranach painted by Ortiz. I’m thinking that Donato’s Talenelat and Battah by Miranda Meeks were moved to the next book. Can anyone confirm this?
