Hello guys! My name is Daniella, I'm from Venezuela and I joined the discord server and this forum a few weeks ago when I finished reading all Cosmere stories for the first time, but I haven't been active in introducing myself or discussing anything and it feels like I'm being a creepy stalker if I don't at least introduce myself... I think this community is so cool and I hope I can make some friends here as I've only convinced two people I know to start reading a Sanderson book so far haha. Just wanted to introduce myself in the forums. I am a long time Sanderson Fan. I have used the 17th Shard and the copper mind for years but finally decided to get more involved with the community. Hmm so a little about me, I currently live in Vegas but work all over the country. Started reading Sanderson with Warbreaker and have continued from there. Glad to be apart of the community Hak

I hope you guys like weird theories, (sometimes) obscure music references, strange attempts at humor, odd questions, and totally random Cosmere/Reckoners/Alcatraz/Other Sanderson Novels stuff, because this is probably 99% of what i'm going to be posting! Hi!, I've been on the 17th shard for a bit now, but I never really introduced myself.... so hi?! My name is Bill Smiley and I'm (as everyone else on this website) a fan of Brandon Sanderson. I've read lots of his books and my favorite is, The Stormlight Archives, followed closely behind by The reckoners. Anyway... here I am! oh! and I'm having problems changing my member title... Help? I don't know where to find where to change it. I think it's supposed to be beneath profile information... but it.s not there! so here a screenshot Can you help me please? Thanks -Bill Smiley

Okay so hello! This is my third post on 17th Shard because I mostly got it to contribute to two other threads I'd seen, but I thought I'd introduce myself. So I have read (in order of recency of most recent re-read) Words of Radiance, The Way of Kings, Warbreaker, Elantris, The Alloy of Law, and the Mistborn Trilogy. I love Sanderson's work, and in particular, the Stormlight Archive, because it is exactly what I love to read - fantastical creatures and people in different universes with crazy (weird, not crazy spaceship good) technology that relies not on what we think technology should rely, but on weird mystical things. I love the idea of Cosmere because it means I can read all the ones I like and they're all linked but in order to understand them, I don't have to read the ones that I don't like so much. My favourite character is currently Dalinar, (hence (tiny wor spoiler in the next sentence I don't know how to put it in it's box thingy ) my username) because he is genuinely just such a great guy and he is like a tyrant, yeah sure, but he does good things, and Roshar will, eventually, be better for it.
