Looks like Timmy Shallan fell down a well again. Luckily for our plucky heroine, Captain Kaladin (who owns shirts - but if you are disappointed, they fall apart in every fight scene wink wink) jumped in after her. Since Shallan's previous date with the devastatingly handsome Adolin went so well, the newest episode features the dark and mysterious Kaladin, just in case you thought she was in danger of picking one. Have a box of tissues at the ready so you're prepared for angsty sepia-coloured flashbacks about dead brothers.

Hello everyone. This is the scene from The Way of Kings when Kaladin and the rest of Bridge Four are on Chasm Duty for the first time. (At least, the first time we hear about it.) It's inspired by the book, of course, and the LEGO scenes from The Stormlight Archive made by Rick Martin. They don't NEARLY go as far as his do, but I would probably do better with more pieces. Picture 1. The overview of the scene. Picture 2. Teft and Kaladin, respectively. Picture 3. The weapons in the pile shown in picture 1, being a Grandbow, Alethi Spear, Parshendi Sword, Parshendi Axe, and Crossbow. Picture 4. Kaladin, with Teft, makes a discovery that Parshendi grow armor. Strange stuff. Picture 5. Kaladin demonstrates an extraordinary kata form as Teft witnesses it in the light hailing from the torch. That's all for the Chasm Duty Scene. I will post more WoK pictures soon.

For the longest time, prior to stumbling upon this forum, I had a theory that Elantris and the Mistborn series were set on the same planet. The reason being, the mention of people on another continent that the main characters did not know about in Mistborn. I thought that these people were the people in Elantris, and furthermore, that the chasm that suddenly appeared and ruined everything in Elantris was caused by the Lord Ruler moving and reshaping the world. I now know this is wrong, but I still think that the two could be related. The way I see it, when the Lord Ruler was moving the planet itself around the solar system, this would have had effects on other planets, and if Scadrial and Sel are in the same solar system, then Sel could have been affected. By moving Scadrial past Sel, its gravitational pull could have affected the other planet, causing an earthquake, and therefore the creation of the chasm. It couldn't be caused by Sazed or Vin from when they held the power, because the Mistborn series takes place after Elantris, but the Lord Ruler would have effected the world one thousand years before, which could put it, chronologically, when the chasm was formed. We also know that Odium did not cause the chasm, and that it did not occur naturally. This might be easily disproved, however, if Sel and Scadrial aren't in the same solar system, but I haven't found anything to against this being a possibility. Thoughts?

Just reading the Emperors Soul for a second time and had a thought. Every object has a soul. Brandon has mentioned that a planet has a soul as well. I wonder if the Chasm in Elantris was a result of an attempted Soul Forgery on a very large scale.
