Recently some of you lovely Sharders recommended for me to read Discworld (mostly @The last Fae in the Woods and @Lost Lobo) , Now that I've checked my local library has most of them (I can request the others from nearby libraries) I needed to pick a place to start. I'll probably do the wizard's route to start and go from there (I'll be following this tree) This thread will follow my journey across the neverending books of Discworld and provide peer-pressure to read them.

Hello. So, I’m starting to read Dawnshard now. I read the prologue when it was spoiled in Brandon’s newsletter, but I am otherwise unspoiled. I’m planning to post my thoughts on the book chapter by chapter here, so if you’re interested you can follow along. My predictions for the book: Chapter 1 thoughts (spoilers for Dawnshard): Chapter 2 thoughts (spoilers:) Chapter 3 thoughts (more spoilers): Chapter 4 (many spoilers): Chapter 5 (spoilers, spoilers, and more spoilers): Chapter 6 (spoilers abound): Chapter 7(spoilers multiplied by a hundred): Chapters 8-9 (spoilers to the power of spoilers): Chapter 10 (so many spoilers): Chapter 11 (spoiler overload): Chapter 12 (drowning in spoilers): Chapter 13 (spoilers): Chapters 14 and 15 (spoilers): Chapter 16 (spoilers): Chapter 17 (spoilers): Chapter 18 (spoilers): Chapter 19 (spoilers): Epilogue (still spoilers): Final Thoughts (spoilers):

Ok so, this is being written as I'm listening to Revolver, which I must say is somewhat of a shift from their earlier work. Everything before it was somewhat similar, but not in a bad way. For some reason, certain songs reminded me of surf guitar instrumentals which I will occasionally listen to when I'm not in the mood for my usual playlist or my soundtrack music playlist. But I digress. Now, I've not listened to the Beatles much before this point (I know, I'm a heretic) but I definitely prefer Revolver over Rubber Soul. Both are good, but I like most songs on Revolver more so than on Rubber soul. More to come (maybe)

I’ve been looking through the blog feature recently and seen something a bit interesting. There are lots of blogs with zero posts. Some of these are normal people who never get around to using them, but I’ve seen others by spambot companies, one for a flight simulator! Just wondering if this is something that should be resolved, and if it should be resolved here because I was unable to find a report button there.

So when browsing Barnes & Nobles online store for more Sanderson books to add to my collection, I came across this pricing that seems to be charging $19.99 for what appear to be excerpts from Brandon Sanderson's Blog. Specifically on the Wheel of Time, I imagine some of his earlier blogs about the process of writing it and whatnot. But I asked myself.... is this even legal? I mean, aren't Brandon's Blogs his own personal property? Is he giving consent to the charging of what seems like it should be free, available info? What is going on here? The seller is attributed to 'Source Wikia' I don't think anybody is dumb enough to actually buy this product like this, but still. How does this even happen?
