Hello hello! So I'm relatively new to worlbuilding and learning how to find ideas among the everyday. I just wanted to ask, how do you guys narrow down your ideas to successfully worldbuild? I've been doing brainstorming sessions, but I end up with so many ideas and possibilities that I feel more overwhelmed than I did before I started. I don't know how to pick which way to go; there are so many things to make decisions on, I just feel I'm going to make a mess of things down the line

While we're in a grace period before Book 5, I wanted to take the time to try to understand the Cosmere a bit more. I've read the Mistborn series, Stormlight series, White Sands, Elantris, Warbreaker, Ars Arcanum, mostly as they came out and I haven't revisited anything since. Where is the best place to start my research and learning? I wanted to look more into things like the Shards and potential major players in the Cosmere at large. Hope this makes sense.

Hey could anyone post/find me some instructions on protocol and conventions on this site. Is it acceptable to double post? What should I recognize as worthy of praise and what should I not? Any conventional ways to respond to someones comment of your work? The rulebook would be helpfull

I’m a long time Brandon Sanderson fan. Proud to say I am Weber State alumni, From ages ago. Really looking to be involved in The Cosmere fandom, But really don’t know how to begin. Jasnah Kholin Is probably one of my favorite characters. My husband and I are into tabletop games and general fiction fandom community. Currently live in Las Vegas but looking to relocate to Utah. One of my dreams is to combine my love of RPG, table top, and passion for miniatures together unto one little hobby. Want to re-create some of Dalinor’s battles or the scenes from Stormlight archive in miniature landscapes. Also have some hopes for Cosplay.

For example, I am a spren. 2. How do I get one of those quote things that appear at the bottom of my posts? 3. Hello world. With that out of the way, I would like to say that I have read all of Brandon's Cosmere literature available EXCEPT for White Sand. (I got Arcanum Unbounded for Christmas, so that has checked off a lot of Cosmere goodies) Don't be afraid to blast me with theories or spoilers, because I WILL EAT THEM FOR BREAKFAST. I love 'em with OJ and toast.
