Here it is! The 17th Shard’s Christmas Advent Calendar. Each day up until Christmas a prompt will be given by either me, @Ookla the Shadowed, or @Ookla the Channelknight, or @Ookla the Ethereal. The prompt will be 1-5 words, and you then make something (art, writing, music, ect.) about it. In addition to the word/phrase prompt, there will be an emoticon prompt. Feel free to do two separate things, combine the words and emoticons into one thing, or just use one of them. You’ll put whatever you make in this thread so everyone can see! You now have the next 24 hours to post your creations for today, then there will be a new prompt. You don’t have to do every single prompt, though doing so would be extra awesome! Once upon a time, a bunch of ordinary Sharders got together one December and had a great idea. (Well, it was mostly Fadran, but we helped some too!) We were to put together a Christmas Extravaganza Bash of Amazingness- with a Secret Santa, Advent Calendar, Sanderson Carol Parodies, and this: a fully original 20 chapter story written by US. It was created, well, chapter-by-chapter! We each took turns writing a chapter, but only had whichever chapter came chronologically before ours to go off of. And having read it putting this thread together, I can tell you, it is one heck of a story. It may be inconsistent at times, but that's part of the fun! I hope you all enjoy reading what we have created. Just remember to rep those involved, because they deserve it immensely! But before Hentient kicks us off... Depending on what we come up with, we'll likely kick people out or add people in (the Advent Calendar guys, for example, will likely only consist of a few people that have advent ideas to contribute). We're going to make some more threads as well so that this one doesn't become an anarchatic mess. If you decide to make a thread for the 17th Shard's Christmas, then I must ask you to follow an easy format: simply give it the tag "17th Shard's Christmas" and highlight it. Light the World happens during the Christmas season for service! Here is a quick video about it: Each day, there is prompt for a different way to serve other people. Here is the advent calendar thread! How it's going to work: each day until Christmas, everyone participating will recieve a 1-5 word prompt which they will use to make something based on the prompt. Art, writing, music, anything else you wanna do! First we need ideas for prompts, so please post in this thread ideas that you have. Once it starts(in the less-then-24-hours) someone that has all the prompts, will put it in the thread. We'll probably have people post what they do each day in this thread. So.
