So at the time of writing this I have read a good amount of the cosmere. I'm up to date on Stormlight, Mistborn, White Sand, Warbreaker, and Elantris, but I still don't know where most of the shards are. I've looked on the wiki and it shows that we know where most of the shards are, but I've only been able to identify 6 direct appearances. Preservation and Ruin appear in Mistborn era 1. Automation appears in era 2. Then Honor, Cultivation, and Odium appear in Stormlight. The only other times I can remember more shards being named was Sazed's notes in Stormlight. I haven't seen any shards mentioned in White Sand or Warbreaker at all, but somehow according to the wiki we know the shards of those planets already??? Sorry if this is a bit of a dumb question but I'm at a complete loss as to where the other 10 shards are hiding.

So... Fainlife is toxic for humans to eat and plants are bone white. Otherwise it is the same as normal life. a) Can kandra eat fainlife? Can kandra impersonate ShoDel? c) Would its ability to metabolize depend on its form (i.e. stomach type)? d) What about sand creatures from White Sand? Do kandra need water to survive? e) Do you think there is some sort of significance to the fact that kandra have two part names a little reminiscent of Sho Del and some younger generations were trying to use 4 arms in an era 1 book, I believe (don't hold me to that)? f) i) Could a feruchemist store fain nutrients to prevent being poisoned? ii) Would the feruchemist need a separate metalmind like he would for food and water? g) Could metalminds be used to turn toxic food into useable energy?

I’ll type out a better theory later but this is the summary: The Set or the group Waxilliums uncle was apart of is actually the IRE or the elantrians from mistborn secret history. The shard Trell is actually Autonomy or the hosts of Autonomy and they were convinced by the elantrians to separate the shard Harmony back into ruin and preservation. The elantrians want Preservations shard so they can revive their own Shards. They used the original agreement between shards to not live on the same world and mix powers, to convince the shard Autonomy or the majority of its splintered power to separate ruin and preservation. Sorry for the messy bad grammar. Please pick this theory apart and maybe read between the lines to find out inbook reasons why what I said could be right.

Do we know why the advancement/sash ceremony was held so far away from Lossand? I'd thought that such an event would happen right outside the Diem or even within their indoor arena.

I signed up for Brandon Sanderson's newsletter and requested the White Sand Prose. Since then I haven't received any emails at all about the Prose or even if I signed up for the newsletter properly. Am I doing something wrong or will it just take another few weeks?
