Hi! Here I will be running a play through of Call to Adventure: The Stormlight Archive, a Stormlight board game. Here is a link to the rules pdf. Learn how to play, and the sign up in this thread. @ me, and I will make sure we get this going. We will need 3-4 players for each game, though I won’t be able to run two at the same time. If someone wants to, they could use their copy to run a simultaneous game. I will not be playing, I will be using my copy of the game to include y’all virtually through a PM. It should be a lot of fun but the first game will definitely be a test run. Player list:

Hi there. Uhh... If you're here because of the stup, then you probably already know about this. If you're here because you found it randomly, then lemme explain. I decided yesterday that I wanted to make a board game. Some buddies of mine (namely @Knight of Iron and @Butt Ad Venture) decided that they were interested, so we started conceptualizing and came up with some ideas. Here's what we got so far: We want it to be a fantasty RPBG, with lots of realms and magic and monsters and all that good stuff You'll have a character with which you'll go on quests to find treasure, items, and unlock new abilities Elephants Here's the doc I'm really bad at explaining things so here's the discord for more information.

Is there any place we discuss Mistbron: House War board game? I have question about two cards, High Prelan card makes a deal binding, and if I have Steel Inquisitor which discards all face-up cards (which High Prelan is), would it also discard High Prelan? Anyway it is awesome game!

I just searched through the site and couldn’t find any other threads talking about this game, so I don’t know how many people even know about it. So if you don’t know about it, a couple years ago Brandon mentioned that they were developing a board game based on and around the war on the Shattered Plains. He even gave out a bunch of promotional Szeth cards/standees with some cryptic game stats on the back alongside the release of Words of Radiance. Supposedly the game was supposed to go to kickstarter sometime in 2018, but that got bumped back. Then today, this troubling news was posted on boardgamegeek.com: I went ahead and sent an email to [email protected] to ask about this. We’ll see what they say. To anyone else interested in this game, I’d encourage you to send them a polite email as well- who knows, maybe if we show them enough support they might revive the game!

So most of you have probably seen that there is a Kickstarter going on for a board game based on Brandon’s Reckoners series. If not, you should check it out. Many of you may not have seen that they are doing a contest to win a free Epic (all the bells and whistles) version of the game along with a signed set of the Reckoners books and copies of the two other games that Nauvoo Games has produced. Most of the things you can do to get entries aren’t too bad as far as these types of contests go- they’re mostly “visit this site” or “watch our livestream video” and there isn’t really an onus to share it with all your friends via social media (though of course you can if you want, like I’m doing right now). But currently if you do all the things in their list it gives you enough entries to have about a 2% chance at winning the grand prize, so hey, that’s not too shabby. And yes, I realize that this is blatant promotion and yes, if you use the link above to enter the contest it gives me 1 bonus entry too, but I figured that there would still be people who are interested who haven’t heard about it yet. I don’t really care about the contest so much as I care about making sure that other interested sharders out there find out about it.

Now, I have no experience in tabletop games or D&D-esk stuff, heck, I've no idea what you even call it. However, the concept has always interested me, and I wanted to ask if it was fun. Probably akin to asking a someone, "what is a maths?" I'm sure, but if you could describe what it's like, that'd be awesome.
