  1. Due to circumstances, Elantrians end up wearing very colorful outfits, which reminded me of Terrisman. Is there a known relation here?
  2. Was rereading elantris and looking at the wiki and I found this. Have there been any WOB on this?
  3. So one thing I have not seen discussed: Why did Hoid have the copper mind in BoM, or even why did it exist? We know Hoid and Kelsier don't quite like each other, but also for what reason would Kelsier intentionally dump the memory? Certainly not because Hoid told him too. There has been some discussion on Kelsier possibly possessing Spook in order to have a physical body. Perhaps he would dump all memories afterwards, to keep Spook himself(And maybe hide some of his activities?). I don't know if Kelsier would also lose the memories as a spirit. Maybe Spook did this bit intentionally as part of a process, after Kelsier hopped out of his body, so Kelsier kept the memories. Thoughts?
  4. I was looking at Vin's page on a wikiwalk and saw something. "Sazed also tried to bring her back to life but revealed that merely healing a body didn't return souls." Yet we have have Szeth and his revival. What is this? Heralds more powerful than Shards?
  5. A reminder- Nightblood has a warped definition of evil. From coppermind: "The Breaths it inherited decided "evil was someone who would try to take the sword and use it for evil purposes, selling it, manipulating and extorting others, that sort of thing."" Szeth doesnt want to do that, he wants to kill the "evil" people who tricked him. At the very end, with Jasnah- A comment about him finding a woman his age, and there only being one in the area (Cultivation) that wasnt his type.
  6. If this were true, I would say Ruin/Preservation/Harmony are physical, Cultivation physical and Honor cognitive (Iffy on cultivation, but they make the difference of Honor makes "mental" spren like angerspren while Cultivation creates gravityspren. Given the nature of spren though, cultivation might be more cognitive just because of that) Thats all I feel pretty certain about. Perhaps throw Endowment into the 4th realm purely because we know Endowment as a whole seems a bit more "divine"
  7. Do we have any direct words from Sanderson that there are 3 and only 3 realms? I come to this idea by basic division, believing that perhaps each shard has a particular realmatic focus. The thing that first inspired this theory was in WoK prologue, with Sazed declaring his shard blade to be from "damnation", with some thinking that meant the spiritual realm. While the significance of that may seem less so, it made me think that perhaps some of the shards are physical, cognitive or spiritual. But with 16 shards (just as there are 16 metals in mist born), wouldn't they need to divide evenly?
