3rd or so re-read of WOR... There is alot of talk about Adolin becoming a KR and all, and this got me thinking on those lines... So I got to the part where Adolin was practicing throwing his shardblade. He kept failing to keep it substantial when it left his hand, even though it was a maneuver he had mastered long ago. 2 theories: 1-He is having some trouble due to a new spren trying to get his "attention" to bond with him. or 2-He may awaken/revive the spren in his blade. I prefer the 2nd as he as always shown alot of respect for his blade, talking to it before duels, refusing to name it because it is far older and has more experience that himself. This seems like the kind of thing Spren would respond well to. I think it would be awesome to be the only one with a spren that kept its memories of the past.

Dalinaut started following WoR Chapter 84 code , The origin of Shardplate. and dalinar's boon

This is a great question. I'm going to a signing next week and would like to ask a question regarding this. Anyone have a suggestion on how to word it as not to get RAFO'd? I was thinking maybe: "Is shardplate related to spren?"

I've always thought the cover was just Kaladin infusing the ground with stormlight.

My girlfriend and I have debate going about this topic. The question is: Is it Dalinars curse or boon to not remember his wife? I said curse, as that would kinda suck, but she thinks he did it as his boon, to forget the pain of her loss. Thoughts??

2 from the same chapter: "And this Whitespine was not yet caged" and "What happened to us?" Dalinar asked. "Where is honor?" "Honor is dead," a voice whispered from beside him. Dalinar looked at Captain Kaladin. He hadn't noticed the bridgeman walking down the steps behind him. Kaladin took a deep breath, then looked at Dalinar "But I'll see what I can do."

Hello everyone! I've been an avid reader and lurker for awhile and its time to get in on the fun! I've been impressed with everyone on this site and the professional way its ran. Nice to meet you all! PS I will be seeing Brandon for the first time in 2 weeks and I'm brainstorming new questions for the Q & A if anyone has some!

This is on my list of questions for Brandon at a singing I'm attending in 2 weeks. What is the stone Gavilar gave Szeth? I couldn't find anything here if someone already asked him so if it has already be documented someone pro let me know

Hi everyone, I've been a lurker for awhile and finally decided to join up Regarding Adolins actions to Sadeas, I really dont think it should/will affect his future of being a Knight Radiant. Sorry if I missed someone else saying this, but we have to remember what happened at the Tower. Sadeas was directly responsible for the death of thousands of soldiers. Adolin and Dalinar included...(if not for bridge 4). I think most will agree Sadeas got what he deserved, but what Adolin did shouldn't be considered cold blooded murder for no reason. It was more like judgement/punishment for crimes committed. I think there's an order for that, isnt there?? Also a question, and I've read the scene multiple times... I read on here that Adolin threw the dagger out the window, but I really think he threw Oathbringer out and left the dagger in Sadeas face. Thoughts?
