  1. You are right. How I phrased that did not actually communicate what I meant. What I meant is that the nightwatcher did grant Mr.T the opportunity to save a certain population from annihilation. However, there are more honorable and successful ways of saving more people if not the majority. Meaning the nightwatcher and the Diagram are correct, but on a lower scale. Sort of like the good, better, and best metaphor. The Diagram is an okay way of saving some people, but their is a best way, and the new "Knights Radiants" will find that way. (Hopefully....)
  2. Yes it is. I did not create the art, (Found it online) but I did make the signature and such. I love them. I actually teared up. My favorite part so far for sure.
  3. I really like this. I think it makes sense and fits with my previous thoughts. I really think Shardplate comes from spren in some way. I think the spren creates it, but is not necessarily it like the blade.
  4. Like has been said before most likely he has children that were not mentioned that are in the camp or that are back at his kingdom. Also, maybe they couldn't have kids. Maybe they didn't want kids. Sadeas really wasn't in the book much anyways. So I don't see much of a need for mentioning his heirs.
  5. Can I get the info you have on Brandon implying Adolin's future as a Dustbringer? I have heard that mentioned before but never read it myself. I think you can argue Adolin is broken in a number of ways. Maybe not as bad as Shallan or Kaladin, but he lost his mother, had to fight in a meaningless war, for a time thought his father was going crazy, and finally murdered a man in cold blood. I think you could argue for "broken." I do agree that it would be hard on Adolin for Shallan to choose Kaladin and Kaladin Shallan. It could push him over the edge for sure.
  6. I'm new myself, but welcome. This is a better forum then most for sure.
  7. Official means its been recognized by Sanderson, so basically the best. I suggest staying out of the Stormlight Chronicles sub forum until you are done with WOR. There are spoilers everywhere. Welcome!
  8. Good luck in finishing and continuing school! and welcome. I hate the wait too, but Sanderson writes like lightning so its the best of a bad situation at least.
  9. I don't think you can find a better magic system creator than Sanderson, for sure. Welcome!
  10. I am one of those in the boat of "shardplate comes from or is spren." My reasoning is mostly based on shardplates interaction with shardblades. When a shardblade cuts a substance that is not alive it cuts through it like a knife through Styrofoam or similar substance. However, if you hit shardplate with a shardblade it is as if it is a regular blade. My theory is not that shardplate is literally a spren, but is a byproduct of some kind from spren. Maybe a spren created it for its master, but does not actually become the armor for its master. When the spren was alive and bonded it could fix the armor, however, now that the spren is dead or the bond is broken they use fabrials and stormlight to fix the plate. Again if shardplate was not the same substance as shardblades I think they would interact differently. Thoughts? Any holes in the theory?
  11. That is totally right. In the Domain of cosmere puns yours have been Endowed with great Honor. (Oh that was horrible...)
  12. Haha, totally. We should preserve these kinds of posts for sure.... da dun dun.
  13. I think these are fun to think about, but I would be so so so sad if they made this a tv/movie. I just don't think society can handle something on this scale. I mean the Lord of the Rings movies are huge and epic and really long (I love them) for most people and the Way of Kings alone dwarfs it. "Don't do it!" I empathically send into the minds of any possible future producers of this venture.....
  14. This should have been a poll..... Sylphrenia / Kaladin combo is what keeps me coming back for more. I also love Hoid and Lopen. Everyone else is awesome, but a little predictable for me sometimes.
