I think if she is able to look at the context of the situation, it was during a battle and her brother had rode down and killed injured members of Kaladin's squad, she will be able to get past it.

It must be subconscious, because I do believe he tried to fix them when everyone was getting the tattoos to cover their slave brands.

Does anyone have any theories as to why Kaladin's scars will not heal with stormlight? I mean Lopen has started regrowing his arm you would think that kaladin could fix those scars.
