Interesting idea, note that he is the leader of the group and it runs relatively smoothly (besides the crazy situations they get into). So he eliminates bureaucracy and such, lack of control maybe.

Good point MathEpic. I didn't consider that. Yeah thats a possibility. I have read Mitosis, was a pretty good read and yeah the parts on weaknesses was interesting. Yeah that's a possibility name_here though then he probably killed children in that madness so that interferes with his possible weakness, any ideas on what that could be?

What do you think Prof's weakness is? I just had an idea that children are his weakness, proximity to children maybe? though he might have used his powers near children and i'm not recalling it. Children weren't mentioned much at all in the story but maybe he just can't use his powers on children. If there is a child epic this would be interesting. My logic for this is since he was a teacher and desperately wanted to save those children it could end up being his weakness, of course its just speculation.
