Edited to add: FYI that my current order is in on the Shade Gun, under the assumption Village would prefer to play with an anti-investiture knife. Please let me know if you'd prefer me to go for the other one instead.

Also, I don't think anyone else has claimed the N'oyayc'woor Chekar (Anti-Investiture Knife) in thread so I might throw my hat in the ring for it, given Kas is claiming the Kyrayc'tracy'uur (Shade Gun), and Tani the Sapanyc'gota (Attractor Fabrial).

Aman is what I'd call a low info hit, Ashbringer's posts might be worth checking. I can't remember who they were voting for.

I mean, both players could reasonably be fear killed, and low activity so far this game just makes them easier to justify as early hits because the comparitively low info.

Okay, time to kill the thread.

I got contacted by a player who I’ll refer to as Hal. Hal said that an Investigator (not Drake) scanned them as village N1, and then scanned Bort as elim on N2. I have not been scanned, just to clarify, but to avoid putting Hal in too much danger they reached out to me to do the reveal. The whole thing seems plausible given the N1 roleblock on Bort, but if Bort flips village, Hal said they will reveal themselves and the Investigator.

So Szeth Bort. And probably Archer next cycle if this works.

I had done a read through of thread and was thinking that Bort RB didn't really seem a compelling case for a lynch based on the absence of a N1 kill, given they can stockpile steel, but I suppose that changes things.

Guess I will park a vote on Bort while I think stuff through further...

You have my sword, Val'ika. I'm not about to see Fifth and Bort dead on their immediate return this soon.

Honour is dead but he lives on in the heart of bros.

A conversation in a room he passed by made Haen pause to listen. Some of his old campaigners talking of sticking together for at least the short term.  Nodding in agreement, he stuck his head in the room.

"And my... whatever, once I get my hands on something. Or I guess my hands if nothing else."

He waited for no response, continuing to hurry to find what he could.

  4. Haem pulled up the stockpile inventory listing as he worked his way towards it, considering. Continuing supply was good, and he wondered about the Attractor Fabrial. Would it break after one use, or could it stand up to continual use. He wondered too if there were any other ways that the stockpile would receive additional supplies.

  5. "Etyc'aruetiise", Haen spat on hearing the reason for the commotion. Maybe he should have put more effort into finding another place to be. To late for that now.

If there was gonna be killing, he needed a weapon. Not a tracy'uur, he thought. Too many enclosed spaces on the ship. A kal would be better, but there wouldn't be any in the general stockpile he knew. Beskar or something similar would have to do. Better to check stuff out early before the mad dash.

With a grunt, he trundled off to see what he could get his hands on.

  6. Haen Plaid doesn't really know why he's still running missions on the Survivor, but working out something different would require effort. So he's reporting for duty I suppose.

Copper: When you use a vial of copper, you can put up a coppercloud around yourself and one other player of your choice, protecting you from Rioting, Soothing, and Seeking. (Day/Night)

Is that just for the turn?

On 07/02/2022 at 8:05 AM, StrikerEZ said:

Chromium: When you use a vial of chromium, you can leech a player’s metals from them, destroying one of their vials in the process. This is not limited to vials they are not using that turn. (Day/Night)

Will that prefer metals they use that turn, or will it be random?

  7. Woo!

Also, I am in fact myself.

Isn't properly written text wonderful? With every capital, comma, apostrophe, period, and question mark in its proper place.

Not to mention the good old elipsis...

Thanks for the write up Kas!

Oh, so Meerkat was Kel, not Kas. That's awkward.

I think they've got a Seeker - because all their kills have been kinda oddly targeted towards people with nice roles.

Unless they have two, or have found a thug, by that logic they'll have already night killed the power roles they've found right? I'd but expect them to have any more knowledge of roles to direct executions unless y'all have terrible PM opsec...

yeah xD I was implying that I think Hael's evil but yknow didnt wanna say it outright feels kinda rude to say without any evidence :P

    Rude!

Why would elims change the vote manip when it's looking to be a tie?

Like, if it's two village, they're better of leaving it so we get no knowledge, unless they know roles. And if one is an elim, then it's potentially more sus to do something and move it off than to just leave it be.

  10. 2 minutes ago, _Stick_ said:

I think Daisy's got to have been an elim right?? or TWS. Or both. I dunno it just seems likely that at least one of the inactives gotta be evil

yes no ties pls >:[ but given the amount of vote manip the village had/has I think the elims probably have some too which means we can expect some vote shenanigans to occur

Why would elims change the vote manip when it's looking to be a tie?

(I get this is like a contribution and all so woop lets go but uhhh)

Isn't this point like basically anyone posting in thread at this point reasonably

I mean, sure? Ultimately, it's a gut read that I don't have the time and energy to properly explore.

A tie means no execution, not a random one.

    We tie, we die.

  12. I'm going to put a vote down on Araris I think. Full disclosure, I've not read through the backlog (why are there 47 pages D:) so I'm basing it on what I've seen since I subbed in. The situation seems like we've gone 5 days with no suspicions that have gone anywhere, and as Araris said last cycle:

    Quote

That suggests that they haven't felt too threatened by anyone in the thread having a lot of village cred. So the elims are likely either comfortable with how the discussion in thread has been going, or they have enough players actively engaged in it that they feel like they can control it on their own. Either way, the focus on less active players makes me think we need to broaden our suspicions.

Chances are the elims are those that have felt comfortable with their position/presence in thread. Elims are much less likely to put their neck out on hard on a tunnel too. And so when I think of who might best fit that sorta mood, well, that's Araris' MO, which seems to hold true here.

I've been doing very well! How are you?

Yeah, not too bad. Had some time off work, and got shortlisted for a new job today, so things are pretty good.
