  1. I'd imagine you would have shards and splinters nudging potential users in the right direction, like with the seons and spren.
  2. I know that this is meant to be mistings, but what about a connection ferring who draws on the skills of te recently deceased?
  3. this may be completely off track (or already confirmed), but what if Autonomy's intent isn't self-sufficiency, but more like in a mechanical system, or a bodies autonomous system. this could have already been confirmed/jossed, but as a random thought could this be a possibility?
  4. Not stormlight, but would using a smoke machine to imitate Scadrial's mists qualify as a good prank
  5. Personally, I'm just happy they are bringing constantine on board.
  6. Class: warlock Sub-class: void walker Race: exo Clan: none, was thinking of joining the 17 shard clan, but that apparently fell flat Level: 32-33 Weapon layout: pulse, fusion, rocket. Favorite enemy: vex, because who doesn't like time travelling robots that screw with player habits.
  7. Did Obliteration always quote bible verses, or was that something that happened after Regalia's intervention?
  8. What if using drawing stormlight to power a Fabrial left some of the stormlight in the spiritweb? Over time this investiture would build up, causing the changes seen. A nahel bond could allow for this build up to be flushed.
  9. My personal theory is that there are something like "ranks" of Epics, as in you have your specialists like deathpoint or the illusionist whose illusions flicker (been a while, forgot her name). Then there are the gifters, who are able to empower a large number if mere mortals. Then there are your big guns, like steelheart and nightwielder. These ones are what started me on this line of thought. They have a mobility power, an offensive power, some form of prime invincibility and, here is where it links in with OP, a power that directly manipulates te battlefield. In nightwielder's case, he makes it night, allowing himself free reign. Steelheart may have his steel shout because with super strength, who wants to fight in a world of cardboard. Sorry for wordy post, will try and make it neater when I get to a proper computer. Thoughts? Opinions? Outright criticisms?
  10. Fair warning, this is not a very serious post... Ok so we know that taravangian's boon was "the capacity to save the world", and what he got was the sliding scale of stupidity and smarts, and I keep seeing thoughts along the lines of "perhaps we have the boon and curse mixed up". So what if the best way for mr T to save the world is actually to do nothing? Ps yes, sorry I'm not actually very good at formatting my thoughts into easily readable posts. I'm trying to get better Edit, spelling
  11. Quick question regarding burning bendalloy, does the user age normally within the sphere?
  12. A query in the bead of Lerasium: would Hoid have to consume the whole bead or could he chip off a fragment and gain part of, if not the whole effect?
  13. An interesting theory, though an issue I have with the use of Selian magic systems on other planets is that each system is 'locked' to a specific region of Sel, a limitation that could reasonably be assumed to be inherent in the system. So in trying to access a Selian system in Roshar one would have to map out not just the regions that are viable for each system, but also figure out what systems work where, and in the case of Aons, what landmarks are significant.
