I have the most fun writing dialogue between different extremes (i.e. rich and poor, educated and uneducated, prudish and promiscuous) because; A: differentiating character voice is really easy B: the end result is usually pretty funny.

Questions about self publishing; - Once you self publish, it there any chance a publisher will look at your book? - Is self publishing a viable option for me considering I've never been published and my only devoted follower is my Mom and I don't want to squander the considerable time and effort it took to write a novel? - Has anyone tried self publishing and regret it? Or used a publisher and wish they'd self published? My apologies If Writing Excuses has already covered this (if so, any idea what podcast #?) Thanks
